I bought one of these fro my son a couple of years ago, it came with the 9.6v Nicd battery and is quite fast but the steering is almost useless.

are u using batteries or the optional 7.2v pack, cause with the pack it is much faster.

man I loved mine when I got it. It was a heck of alot faster. Mine did doughnuts with ease, drifts, WAY faster than this one.

I got one a few weeks ago at walmart. But it was discontinued in 2006 they found it laying in the back of their warehouse so gave to to me for 5 bucks. But it was originally almost 50
