  • Excelente, sensível, bem acentuado e musicalmente grandioso!

Daumen hoch.

  • How do you feel about having a dry ride as your main? I'm thinking about getting a 22" AA Raw Ride with some rivets for my main along with some sort of mini bell for my left.

  • Beautiful sound and swing my friend.

  • This is so amazing.

  • Great cover, I love brushes drumming!!!

Keep going just like this, you're really good!

  • toca muito bem mano. Qual é o nome do ride? (O último, na direita)

  • @LuiDeca Neste vídeo eu jogar, da esquerda para a direita: 14" K-Light Hi-hat, 20" K-Constantinople Low Ride, 21" K-Special Dry Ride, 20" K-Custom Dark Flat Ride com 3 rivets.

  • nice work you dont see many jazz covers on drums

  • i love zildjian k's

  • it believe its a 21 k cust special dry ride and a 20 k cust flat top ride on the right. im not sure what exact constantinople ride it is on the left..

  • wat stck are u using?

  • @bigxjon91: I use the Vater Sugar Maple Cymbal Stick with Teardrop tip.

  • So.....This was actually some sort of cover, right?

    J

  • I'm not that much into jazz (drumming), but you blew my mind. Really enjoyed it. Your kit sounds awesome as well, I love your rides!

  • I use a k custom dry ride right now and i absolutly love it but im also looking for something a little bit more wet to use as well and i have no clue what to look for.. any suggestion?

  • check out the K-Custom special dry rides, they sound similar to the K-custom dry but with more wash. Or go for a K-Constantinople ride or K-Custom high definition Ride.

  • What kind of cymbals are you using? From left to right.. thanks!

  • yeah!!

    bravo too!!

  • i wish they showed a shot of the rest of the band =P

nice work on this one man. i like all your vids/playing, great stuff.

  • I think the funnest thing about jazz is that you can just randomly jam with other musicians... I was at a pub with some mates cuz my band Tzar Bomber was playing and then this jazz band played after us and the drummer got me up and I full improved like 15 mins worth of music haha it was so much fun, I'm so appreciative of my drum teacher for teaching me jazz before any other style

  • beautiful drumming

  • wow, beautifully smooth =] im playing this song on sax, its a shame my drummer cant play like this D=

  • there's that groove. when you hopped in with that ride and comping i was like, yeah man

  • respect, Uwe! Great playing. And I like your sound a lot.

  • wow man u made me dance and i never dance...groovy

  • oscar aurait certainement aimé t'avoir à ses côtés, t'as le swing man.

  • Great work, Great time keeping. Looks easy when you do it.

  • It's this kind of stuff that makes me proud to be a drummer in a jazz ensemble.

  • Dude, this is awesome. I really admire your brush work. Time to wood shed:)

  • soooooo goooood

  • I'm making my first steps into jazz druming these days and although i'm a grunge-lover I must admit that this is fucking great!!!:)

  • @OrionDrums

    thanks man.

  • daaamn dude, this is nice!!! there are not much drummers on youtube playing jazz.

These kids nowadays think that playing a swing pattern on the ride while doing crazy "gospel chops" in between is jazz drumming. Gospel drumming is cool y'know? but it's nice to see some REAL jazz drumming once in a while.

  • Yea man thanks for your comment. I am actually shocked how few drummers are still know how to swing. It's a dam shame that this art form is not being celebrated more.

One can just hope for the better and try to educate.

  • even though i am a teen i agree with that...(part of that) i love jazz drumming

  • that's great little dude, keep on....jazzin' ? haha

  • you van tell that..

  • @menteencoma that's right, there should be more jazz drum covers on YouTube, I should get to it...

  • dude, you're amazing! I just subbed to your channel

  • that ride all the way to your right is a thing of beauty.

  • Yes it is. It's a 20" K-Custom dark Flat Ride with 3 rivets.

BEAUTIFUL BABY as Armand Zildjian used to say

  • Good job.

  • I love your sound with the brushes and with your hands on the snare-drum! Remember 1995 when we used to play in Hamburg?

When I was at the "Musikhochschule" Joe Pass gave me some guitar lessons...

    Best wishes from Germany...

  • Very nice!! I used to practice to Oscar's trio all the time. Love your playing!!

  • Thanks man

  • The ride to my right is a Zildjian 21" K-Special Dry Ride.

When playing brushes, just relax and try to get a good sweeping sound out of the drum. Don't press the brushes on to the snare.

  • this is great!

  • Sweet chops...a great groove

  • Thank you
