When my band Director showed us this, then read the letter written by Eric Whitacre and it resulted in Disney studios saying they chose to make Kung Fu Panda instead, I about had a conniption fit... This song (and the movie it was based around) would have sold more copies than any other from Disney, just because of what it represented; but no, we got a fat panda with an obvious and predictable ending, and now they're releasing a sequel!

@Strawkitty11 You'd be surprised just how well you can do with the right amount of practice, determination, and passion. My group performed Water Night last year and we had about 25 students but we sounded so much larger and better due to everyone's love for the piece and the practice and patience we all had. Good luck on this piece if you are doing it. Eric Whitacre's pieces are very challenging, but they are so worth it once you put it all together. :)
