@junjun133 it may be because you need to put money on your virgin mobile account, you can top up on your phone by going to Menu- My Account- Top Up then doing that from your phone

or you can go to the virgin mobile website and top-up there

this phone is horrible i had it for 3 months and it broke. the screen would turn grey and it would shut off. then the button letters started to come off so you couldnt read them. if you get a phone by virgin get the rumor 2 its soooooooo much better

not true, i bought the rumor 2, thought it was pretty good. friend then got the xt-c, i returned tht rumor in 3 hours and got the xt-c. way better looking and keys take a little getting usedto (after 2-3 days ull be pro) overrall i like the xt-c huge screen and overrall performance better

haha you say you have to have the keyboard pulled out to type a number but you dont. leave the phone shut and press the silver center button and it opens up a keyboard where you use the arrows to dial. yes you can set pics as wallpaper. on and IM is already installed. you dont have to have internet, just testing. i have unlimited but NO INTERNET at all and i use mobile IM and mobile Email. The only thing you have to have to use the IM and email is texting. you dont have to download the IM
