  • its as if jackie is saying that bruce lee was worried... and not happy during those days

  • 7:40 my friends x)

  • whoa... he was obviously going to say something important!!!

  • what is the name of the lady interviewing him

  • wheres the rest of the interview??

  • shit i really wanted to know what he wanted to say! dam bruce u shulda said somethin

  • @ToxicXavier timing is everything

  • No idea wjhatsoever why Jackie talks about Bruce Lee's Bell-End , he talks of the shape of his Bell-End and does gestures with his hands to indicate shape & size. Not necessary to talk about Bruce's Bell-End , totally uncalled for.

  • @CloudsBeyond he was bigging him up, saying he was wearing americas latest fashion in china. You can see his respect for Bruce Lee.

  • @CloudsBeyond Bell-bottoms were a type of platform shoe worn in the 1970s that there quite expensive and fashionable, esp. in China. He was basically pointing out that Bruce Lee was at the height of his career and he died too soon before he could enjoy his success. When someone you know dies everything about a memory is worth remembering.

  • @ilabstudios sorry but 'bell-bottoms' were pants, not shoes. Many who wore them also wore platform shoes, but they were two different items.

  • i really dont think jackie chan and bruce lee understood each other

  • The interviewer was disappointed at the ending of Chan's story.

  • So basically Jackie says "We went bowling for less than two games, when he left he was going to say something, but didn't, then I saw his shoe as the door closed."

And the reporter says : "What an AMAZING story."

Lofl... Anyone else think that was stupid?

  • @thelister4910 funny? yes, but stupid? no. he was with some one he truly admired. i know if i was with someone i looked up to, i'd be the fumbling fool trying to show off and shit. then i would tell a very short, probably boring story to brag to my friends and family. plus she was being polite.

  • I think Jackie scored big time with the hot interviewer!

  • how does jackie chan just smile after saying then a few days later he dies O.o

  • @CrzBioHazard because it happened like 40 years ago, and its not like they were close friends, they just kinda knew each other.... like would you feel bad if that kid you kinda knew in school died

  • @CrzBioHazard the reason he smiled is because he feels like bruce knew something bad was about to happen but he decided not to tell jackie chan.

  • @CrzBioHazard It's a natural reaction to avoid crying...I do the same when I remember my Mother (R.I.P.)

  • @CrzBioHazard That isn't actually a smile. Sometimes when people have a sudden surge of emotion it must be released in some way. Jackie could just as easily have started tearing up, but it was more appropriate for him to vent his emotion by "smiling", tapping his fingers rapidly and shrugging his feelings away.

  • I don't like him that much prior to this interview. After this one I feel he's actually quite easy going. Also props to him for sticking up for China and just saying the truth, rather than giving what perhaps might be a canned answer the West would want

  • LIKE THIS IF YOU CAME FROM THAT OTHER VIDEO THAT ENDED SHORT LOL

  • @Johnouchiha LoL werd! took me a few minutes but i got it..

  • Enticing story about Bruce Lee. What was he struggling to say? What crossed his mind and what was worrying him so much? His recent seizure? His headaches? His fame? Advice to Jackie? We'll never know.

  • gosh, jackie chan's younger years came like straight out of a movie! gotta love the 'no money but still hailed a cab' part

  • LOL sending the hard hitting questions to an entertainer who is a beneficiary of West, does not represent the Communist party, is not responsible for the ills of China, and who is merely pragmatically acquainting the China he obviously loves to the World, and the World to China. Clearly asking the wrong person. Go back to journalism school.

  • "I would pay to see that."

    I wouldn't accept cash as payment... ;)

  • at 6:42 when Jackie Chan is talking about Bruce Lee sat like that, I think Bruce was exhausted and already sick like getting a headache. It's just my guess so yea...

  • a true success story

  • It looks like from Jackie last meeting with Bruce Lee, Bruce may have knew that someone was trying to kill him.

    7:22

    Good interview though

  • do u guys know that....one of his song got 10 million download on internet!

  • Good Answer Jackie ! ! !

  • bruce lee probably knew he wasnt gonna last long, he wanted to tell jackie that he will be #1 after bruce himself.

  • @udlock9 he probably had respect for jackie. knowing that jackie had worked hard to get to where he was when he met him.

  • good job jacky

  • is chan japanese DX

  • @DMKTENN Of course he's not.

  • @juliane17 THEN WAT

  • @juliane17 THEN WAT IS SHE

  • @DMKTENN CHINESE

and HE IS A HE. not a she.

  • @DMKTENN omg you're a retard XD

  • @juliane17 hahaha

  • @juliane17 tanks for posting this

  • @chinagansta you're welcome

  • @juliane17 was that really necessary i thought it was obvious??

  • @juliane17 Are you fucking kidding?? 'she' ???

  • @DMKTENN NO!!! he's chinese

  • go jackie!!!

  • weird how jackie didn't mention the bruce lee story in his book... but it was nice to hear him talk about it... and bruce lee will always be up at the top as one of the best along with jackie chan :)

  • jackie chan is the best.i never saw him

on the Olympic's telecast.they should have had him on.

he should have roundhouse kicked michael phelps in the leg so he could'nt swim.phelps is no hero and should not be looked up to by anyone.he uses drugs.

  • wow....the Bruce incident really got me pondering......... What was he trying to get of his mind before he past away...........

  • Jackie rules, its nice to see that hes not manipulated by the American press and defends his country to the very end.

  • He's right China changed. In the 1960's say human rights or freedom, you would get shot. Now while it's not perfect it's soo much better.

Ever Country, United States had Slavery.

Britain had Discrimination against Irish and sooo many European Countries had CONLONIALISM, but they won't reflect upon that. It's good to just "Blame China"

Nazi Germany in 1936 held the Olympics and they had concentration death camps!!

This is criticism is hardly balanced!

  • @gundamWWW whats do you expect, white people more specifically america, are trying to govern the world. Take a look at whaling, i mean america almost hunted them tlll extinction and now have the nerve to tell japanese to stop .

china suffered alot from many countries attacking it, in cantonese bart gwok leun gwun, 8 of the biggest nations attacking china

china discovered the world in the 14th century and didn't rape the world, white people stole gun powder off chinese and took over the world

  • agree with him, its like everybody is racist to china.

  • all the americans have forgotten the meaning of the olympics: to come together and participate in sports...there's no politics involved, jesus christ

  • USA is a communist country but the government won't admit it ....'nuff said ...

  • It may not be known to many in U.S., but these days, Jackie Chan is a cheerleader for Chinese communist regime. The regime courted and groomed him to be their promoter. Apparently, he believes that he is doing what 'patriotic Chinese' should do.

  • Why dont you go back to your trailor and fuck your mother?

  • I only copy and pasted these words from a news reporter... dont get mad at me you you communist dickhead

  • you are so funny! because you totally do not understand the true face and history of Chinese.

  • The true face of the Chinese is being a puppy and being told by the government when to sit and when to beg.

  • You're a douche?

  • with JC being 1 of the wealthiest men in Hong Kong i doubt he supports any communism

  • He did as every chinese he suffers unde

    Sinocentrism !

  • when would u people understand, that China=/= Communism, he doesnt support communism, that might be correct, but he supports CHINA

  • terrible interviewer. You don't question jackie's country. Legendary man talking to a worthless ant. Oh well.

  • Mr Chan see you in the film industry

  • Dont worry it is the political commentator were saying the opening ceremony might cause a false signal. Look in America it is every man for him self and family.I know manyhard working American. People mind their own business. It is the political news that stir it up. China need a military dynasty. Because how will you make laws work if you have that much people to contain. Dont worry China the whole world knows. China is good and spiritual. Look at the ceremony and the next generation kids.

  • I put communist in quotations because the government is stepping more and more away from its communist ideology. Both the "ruling by virtue" policy promoted by former President Jiang Zemin and the "harmonious society" guideline proposed by current leader Hu Jintao were derived more from the Confucian doctrine than from the Marxist ideology.

  • (continuing from below)And yet, he supports China in its actions. It isn't a result of communist brainwashing; because he grew up in hong kong. And yet his opinions are similar to most opinions of people in mainland China.

Does this mean that a "communist" country is right for once?

  • I believe that Jackie is a great guy in all aspects.

I also beleive that he is truly smart. He went through the so-called torutous childhood, where he grew up in a opera school. And yet, he didn't hate his parents for doing it.

Also, since he grew up in a Western-influenced society,( Hong Kong was under British rule, so he would have been exposed to democracy and freedom and human rights stuff) he is already biased (not much, but some) when he went to mainland China.

  • don't u just love jackie?

  • She dosn't seem to be a fan of China, but she she sure is a fan of Jakie!

  • jackie rulez

  • Tibet need to pull their head in. They are a chinese province and need to submit.

  • lol peeps bruce lee was a super star in china in 1973 he pass alway hong was struggling to find another super star so they turn to Jackie chan the stun double first hit move even was 5 mil dollar u peeps dont know what u r say go fuck ur self !!!!

  • Jackie Chan is doing this to help his career as well as give something back to the country that give him fame and fortune.

There is nothing wrong to be a Chinese as well as supporting the Olympics. The running dogs of the Western Imperialists always wanna screw the games because they like to invent things like Human Rights and other sort of shit.

  • the bruce lee story was really interesting wish bruce and jackie made a movie together like forbidden kingdom today.

  • all i gotta say is free tibet !!

  • you're stupid.

  • any contry is not perfect contry, NATO contries and U.S has a war in Iraq, that means Olympic will be boycotted forever? boycotte 2012 London Olympic? U.S 20xx Olympic? Germany 20xx Olympic? Frach 30xx Olympic?

  • China's human rights issues is nothing compare to Bush's and Chaney's War crimes and hypocritical adminatration. You wanna talk about human rights? Ask about all of the things done in past 7 and 1/2 years and see how fucked up this country is compared to previous years

  • hello there xyzmp3

kung fu is not for violent, it is a form of exercise and self protection, it is our culture that has made china. kung fu is a symbolic icon of the chinese culture,

  • u my friend, is a dumbass plz stfu

  • kong fu is not just fighting, u know nothing about it, shut the fuk up, retard

  • yea ur right. I guess if there's any robberies or muggings, there's a gun involved. some hobo in NYC will use a gun rather than just grab and run. Martial arts will be useless then.

I dunno about saving countries, but if you can't save yourself, you can't help others.

  • Nice Interview, i think Jackie has some good points when you think about how hard this subject really is.

to fdesa12 Martial arts would not be useless just beacuse some1 has a gun in close quaters it can still help you beacuse its rare that some1 will just shoot with no reason so you still got time to defend yourself even with a oppenent with a gun.

And anyway i am so tired of hearing that, Martial arts is a lifestile for many people as myself so its a way of life and never af waste of time.

  • oh lol no what i had meant was guns from a distance.

Martial arts can be both a lifestyle and a combat form. Of course any closer to your range gives you more of an advantage.

I just like the rhythym of movement and being able to read other people's movements. kinda like dancing too lol.

  • other countries are just uneasy that China is becoming stronger. their starting shit at the wrong time. Jackie seems to be a fan of Bruce lee. Who would have guessed that Jackie was the replacement.

  • @jayangli : Well, Bruce seemed to be the first ever to have guessed that. I think the too had something special between them :) I love both men for their off0screen rather than onscreen character.

  • Nice story about Bruce Lee !

  • After your light reading about the isolated incidences of "little Chinese girls unloved" WHO THE HELL IS GOING TO PAY FOR THEM NOW IF YOU FUCK UP CHINA's ECONOMY? FACE IT, YOU, DON'T, CARE!

  • True, Tianmen happened before China's economy went up in the 90s, and the stereotypes of mysogeny and xenophobism is Cartoonish schemas at best that is not based on anything current, AND ITS SUCH A LOU DOBBS PERSPECTIVE!!! NO ONE CARES FOR WHAT HAPPENED IN CHINA IN THE LAST 50 years- They are hardly paying any money to the Tibetans for anything, that's why Sarkozy is such a cunt!

  • I am totally with jackie chan on this issue. It seems that all the sudden all western countries are trying to bring up allllll the problems they 've known China's been having for the past several decades. Isn't it just a bit tacky to bring it up now? right around the corner of Olympics?? Sometimes people can be such hypocrites!

  • i think it's not SOMETIMES~ all these western countries...they're hypocrites all along! democracy? oh please! this is totally propaganda! what the heck! all rhetorical language!

...btw i feel like slapping this Anjali girl~ the questions she asks makes me want to choke her as a represntation of all those pea-brained western countries

  • No, Anjali Rao was not critizing China nor ambarassed by Jackie Chan's rebuttal, but simply asking the questions that are known and circulated worldwide. Jackie did not answer the questions, but rather dodged the questions by disclaiming that he's not concerned about politics, which is true. We come to know and love Jackie Chan for his being a martial arts action hero. Let him be. Don't dress it up as if he's whoring for the China government.

  • I thought I had seen every video of Jackie Chan. This is the one that shows what a true hero is.

  • I think the lady in there really wants to hear Jackie critisizing China and the Chinese government! But..... In the end, she embarasses herself!!!!!!Well done, Jackie! You're my hero!

  • I'm with you on this Jackie!

  • great video. Support Jackie Chan, you are a brave good guy.

  • oh yeah...super!!!

  • Did you notice how the hot fuck changed the subject when she embarassed herself in front of jackie?

Oh no! quick change the subject before Jackie shows more nationalism.

  • @LobsterHammerFoot do they still do that thing jackei said that martial school did

  • @LobsterHammerFoot You don't have to call her a "fuck".

  • The one about his encounter with Bruce Lee just rocks!

  • Thanks for uploading the full interview. Jackie gave a good interview here! :)

  • no prob:)
