@PlebScrubber Why are they probably not guilty? Certainly we can yell "free tibet" in Canada, but no one cares about Tibet here. We are very big on saying anything we want as long as it does not offend somebody's race or some group of sexual deviants. And the people we know have done horrible things are given free room and board. (well not really free cause we pay for it.) Is that really a better system? I suppose.... but mostly for criminals and politicians.

There are heaps of cases of wrongly accused being executed even with massive evidence to prove innocence. People are imprisoned for years for writing a poem or paiting something not inline with chinese government views. This court case is just a show for cameras and the world.

Also what are you talking about, framing people. You have a justice system,where you actually go to court. In China, you say anything against the government, or are suspected guilty of anything, you go directly to jail for who knows how long.

You need to realize how much you have in the US, compared to 80%of the world,which are all 3rd world countries.

Some idiot broke into her house and fell onto a kitchen knife. He called the ambulance and sued the woman, because he got injured and he has won the case. But there are many stories like that, it shows us how fucked up the people are these days.

Same thing in USA right? Read the Patriot Act, it was passed after 9/11. It violates the Constitution and it also violates the 5th, 6th, 8th and 13th Amendments, which means you can be kept in prison without a trial and punishment without conviction and alot of other stuff. USA WAS great.
