No, a teddy bear puppy is called a shichon (shihtzu-bichon). I have one and she is soooo cute!!!!!! We are getting another one soon they are the best breed of dogs ever!!! :)

They are not technically a breed, they are a cross between a shih tzu and a bichon freise. I know because I have one and he is the sweetest little darling. I would recomend them to anyone who has the time for their coat, they are non shedding and full of love!
