Just want to say, as a carer on a dementia unit, where I work, we give them the hugs and love they need when family isnt there. Im sure I speak for many carers out there, whatever the media says x

Is family not there once stage three hits you find?

I personally am guilty, as is my family of not visiting my Nanny as much as we should have in the past since it was overwhelmingly difficult to see her deteriorate before our eyes, not remember us Once I heard she lost the ability to walk now a spark let in me like I need to vist her as much as possible, show her all the love in the world even if she forgets me I like to believe that there is still something there..
