  • "The first thing you have to do is to round your lips."

What about "eer" like in words "peer", "ceer" or "beer"

it'll be difficult for me to round the lips because I have to widen my mouth to pronunce the "ee" vowels

    What should I do ?

    Reply in message please.

  • @sagifshahab Here you are talking about diphthongs, which are two vowel sounds said together. First you must say the "ee" with your lips flat, and then round them for the "er". Practice, and look in a mirror when you do it. The more you practice, the easier it will get!

  • thank u

  • This video is helping me. Thanks!♥

  • It's very hard for me to say R+L. examples: world, earl and whirl.

    any tips?

    thank you.

  • @cramulh4o R + L words are the most difficult in terms of fine muscles of the tongue that are used. Try thinking of words like "girl" like this: GERRR ULL. After the ERRR drop the BACK of your tongue and touch the tip to the ridge behind your top front teeth. Hope this helps!

  • @cramulh4o just pronounce it the British way! you know now why Brits don't pronounce it there, but it requires more effort!

  • i am having a little problem while pronouncing "particularly"

should i pronounce both the same way?

  • same =(

  • @Bloodzee no. the first "ar" has a deep sound while the last "ar" has a higher sound.

The first "ar" will sound like (ahr) while the second "ar" sounds more like (air)

Why this is, I haven't the clue.

  • The French "R" is hard for me as an American.
