They sounded just like this when I heard them in Sept. 2010. I like this singer better than the original one. Though I always loved their music, I was never that wild over the singer's voice in "Don't Answer Me" and "Eye in the Sky", etc. Sorry, I forget his name. His voice was sort of on the weak side, in my opinion.

Nobody should expect PJ to sing the same way Lenny did. They played it well, including PJ. If I want to hear the most faithful reproduction I'd put on the CD.

The Alan Parsons Project was never a real 'band.' It was Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson, writing songs and hiring studio musicians to record them. Lenny Zakatek was the singer they hired to record this song.

PJ does seem a bit of a wanker, but look ... it's rock from a long time ago, and he does do a good singing job. Also, he gets the crowd going with almost no effort.

Great concert. Found it on DVD at the video shop. Wish I'd been there.

AP is not really popular in my country. Their fan base is not that huge here compared overseas. I just discovered them when I heard "Days are Numbers" when I was 5 lol. The name stucked in my head when the DJ mentioned that it was Alan Parsons.

the original producer alan parsons is there with new muscians and vocalist p.j. olsseon its called the alan parsons live project it may be considered a cover band to purist's who perfer the album taped c.d. recordings that alan and eric help make through a ten album concept based process.

the live band is very good though and i hope to see them some day it would be a dream come true for me.

yup thats alan in the background the heavy set guy. ive hung with him after a SHOW IN NYC. he doesnt sing lead anymore so it is a bunch of other memebrs but thats alan 100% standing in the background.

Alan Parsons occasionally used the same singers on albums, but for the most part, it was a revolving lineup (or project). That would be the tough part about performing the perfect show...the guest list would be huge! This is a great version of this song...even if I do miss the original voice of Lenny Zakatek a little).

Lenny Zakatek was the original singer on the 1979 Eve album. Don't know what happened to him but there are some other vids (Games People Play) with him in it, including a Spanish TV show with him performing "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You"....
