The old episodes were like more "genuine"... it's like as if everything were more true: the black color of the penguis, the interaction between family members, the voices... true, Carlo Bonomi provided the voice. Search the video "documentario su Osvaldo Cavandoli" and you will see Bonomi dubbing cartoons with his silly voice and language which is a mix of italian dialects, english, onomatopoeic sounds and made up words. He claims to have been able to make those sounds since he was a young child and that made him popular among his classmates and asking him often to make those silly voice. Nothing to do with the new cold-hearted voices.
