  • they should have used the Antonov 225 to cary the A380

  • haha they gave a seemingly impossible task to a guy named jesus :D

  • The transport costs alone would hemorrhage money from the company. At some point they are going to have to centralize the operation and only transport small components to the final assembly point. Completing a whole section of an aircraft and then having to move it across half of Europe is crazy planning and they just can't afford the time or money involved. Transporting people to the assembly is a lot easier than transporting those huge components.

  • 787 will defeat this plane in the long run.

  • @Rico8458 you really can't compare a 787 to a A380 it's just insane. They are not in the same class the 787 will most likely compete with the A330

  • @Rico8458

A350 already eating up the B787.

  • Now no longer is the problem to design bigger planes. Instead the feat is getting the parts to the assembly line!

  • why dont they fix seats and suites on beluga

  • because it's too ugly

  • why they did not hire the ukrainian an 225 mriya to transport a 380 wings

  • They are to big, to be transported on a plane even on the An-225. Both wings make a huge wing area of 9100 square feet and one wing is almost as long as a An-225!! The A380 wings can carry 310tons of fuel!

  • @techdefined: I don't think an A380 wing can carry over 3 hundred tons of fuel lol..

  • @sergkob because the An-225 mriya is russian and airbus is european, airbus must use their own transportations
