U can never compare any other game witth lineage2 it's the most complex game ever made it has another world inside it it has unlimited posibility , lineage2 is addicting , do not start to play lineage2 if you are not a strong person , it can take you down , i am playing lineage since 8 years since it's definition wasn't known by many ppl , i never stopped playing not even 1 single day it's like my personal brand of heroin

Well when i was playing Lineage 2 they didnt, maybe they do now. I quit playing at the end of C5 when there was still a few left playing, now there is no one almost playing official lineage 2, I dont call a 1000 at peak times big numbers, but ncsoft has admited that american and european servers have never had what they had hoped for playing. Use to be a site you could see just how many were on, and 3 years ago it was very LOW. Now very very few

There are still quite some people that populate one or two official servers, but the rest are like dead. If NCsoft have advertised Lineage 2 like Blizzard did with Wow in the beginning and clear out all those bots, then Lineage 2 would still be in its glory today.

I totally agree, they did no advertizing, they had NO customer service at all when i played it through c5 I got hacked I got blamed and we found out many of us got hacked from within ncsoft, yet we still were at fault. I think Lineage 2 ran by like blizzard would be a FAR better game and doing awesome almost 6 years to the launch date. I do miss the game but it isnt worth ever going back to. I ran a private server and knowing how much they HIDE from us OMG

When the official servers gone in U.S., perhaps you can run a private server (but not a very high rated ones that allows you to level to the max in few days) and attract some true lineage 2 players from the official ones. Low rate servers like these are necessary because those high rated ones just come and go.

what are you talking about theres 1000s of private servers i ran one for almost a year. My server wasnt high rates it was 7x

So you still had to look for your items to craft and such no GM shops but we did increase some drop rates more on certian things. I have letters from ncsoft saying just how LOW the members are and how much a disappointment it has been. But ncsoft still claims the most ever to play a MMORPG with NO proof just their word lol. 17 million , RIGHT

Lineage 2 is the 3rd most played MMORPG with 19 millions subscribers (that means the number of people that have tried), following Lineage 1. Even though it's not popular in the West. It's huge in Asia.

Yes, there are thousands of private servers, but not many have the amount of people that L2Extreme used to have before it shut down.

Ncsoft cant prove them 19 million numbers no one recongizes this number. Ncsoft loves to throw up numbers with no proof of anything. I know L2 is popular in South Korea but not to the point ncsoft has claimed. Lineage 2 has never had 19 million anything. 250-300k USA and Euro, 3-4 million in asian at best

I know all about L2extreme I was there when the FBI shut it down, I was questioned cause my IPs were always logged into the server. ncsoft was pissed they were making 30K+ a month lol

You know thats true, WOW private servers suck the lineage 2 s privates are far better, there is not 10s of thousands playing on WOW privates just a few hundred. But there are 10s of thousands playing private Lineage 2 servers. Ncsoft ONLY tagged extreme cause they were making good money, but they also ran a awesome server. most of ncsoft games fail and or are lowly populated. They have NO customer service at all
