  • yo...san andreas in a nba video, i like it

  • ok silly question: who are those celebrities at 4:12?

  • lol gta san andreas music

  • slutsz wana spread it for this dude

  • The Mailman has delivered!

  • @ry3304

Dude you are so dumb I can't believe I'm even responding to you....how in the hell could you say that Malone never shat on anyone.....He has the 2nd most points and the most defensive rebounds of all time. He did EXACTLY what a PF is supposed to do. Grab rebounds and score points and at his position he was the best...averaged 25 points per game and 10 rebounds for almost 20 years straight....that is unmatched by anyone these days....read some stats retard

  • @bigmike9482 Duncan is still the greatest PF of all time. Better post player, better defender, more consistent, clutch and a team leader. And not to mention that Duncan is a winner.

The only thing Malone has over Duncan is athleticism. I do have Malone as the 2nd best PF of all time though.

  • @shadow1dx .....well I wouldn't really call Malone a loser.....he was unfortunate to play his NBA Finals against the greatest player of all time. Jordan was already downhill when Duncan became a superstar. But it's tough to argue with anyone about Duncan....Here is my final thought....Rodman is the best defensive PF, Malone is the best offensive PF, Barkley is the best athlete, Nowitski is the best shooter and Duncan is the best all around....I'll concede to that argument

  • @bigmike9482 Shawn Kemp is probably more athletic than Sir Charles. KG deserves a mention somewhere there too.

Other than that, I'd have to say that I agree.

  • @shadow1dx still kemp didn't achieve anything. he wasted his talent. barkley was more aggressive. kemp did do well in game 5 of the 1996 nba finals, but lost control in the next game

  • @billslover90 I was stating in sense of just raw athleticism. I think he's a better athlete than Charles. Again KG deserves a mention along with Malone. Blake Griffin has the potential to be up there too.

  • This is a great video :)

  • I met karl malone at a utah utes game once turns out him and my uncle are friends its so cool!

  • 61 points in 33 minutes. DAMN.

  • You know when the mail man hits a 3 (well it looked like one at 3min 05) and then gets a steal and runs the floor for a dunk (3min 36) something crazy is happening, 21/26, 33mins, WOW only Wilt can compete with that, and his FG% wasn't good

  • 117-113 overtime win against the Cavaliers.

  • In the 1989-90 season, there were three NBA players who got their career highs in scoring. On January 27, 1990 Karl Malone scored 61 points on 21/26 FG and 19/23 FT in a 144-96 win against the Bucks. On March 24, 1990 Tom Chambers scored 60 points on 22/32 FG and 16/18 FT in a 121-95 win against the Sonics. On March 24, 1990 Patrick Ewing scored 51 points on 20/29 FG and 11/13 FT in a 115-110 loss to the Celtics. And on March 29, 1990 Michael Jordan scored 69 points on 23/37 FG and 21/23 FT in a

  • WTF 33 minutes??! talk about efficiency

  • 2005 Finals Averages Tim D

    20.6 ppg

    14.1 RPG

    2.1 BPG

    2.1 APG

Lol yeah thats pretty bad ass. Against the other best defensive team

  • @sunshinebutmorerain LOL really duncan played bad in 05? Finals mvp against Sheed and wallace one of the best defensive front courts if not the best. Just a stupid statement

  • Yea, well I like Greg Bolderjack, but Matt Harpering meh! I heard Hot Rod used to get drunk at the games, which is awesome lol...

  • i miss hot rod.....he was so exciting to listen to. The new guys are so.....meh.

  • He shot 80 percent from the field in this game. Unreal.

  • never cared for the Jazz (Sonics fan for life) and still don't, but this guy was amazing. seemed like he had a bajillion 40 point games. better then barkley, better then kemp. the Mailman (awesome nickname btw) was the best pf of the 90s, and that's saying something

  • We need players like this back

  • Karl was a beast, if he won 1 title he could be considered the best. TD all day!

  • I wish commentators today talked like this.

  • @TheAssgas Damn right. they actually make it interesting.

  • Stockton's short shorts are so rad.

  • Greatest power forward in NBA history! Also, the best body we'll ever see on a basketball player.

I saw Malone play countless times, and he was a man among boys. Truly incredible!

  • san andreas

  • 0:19 i feel bad for stockton having to carry malone's weight

  • he's better than me

  • 00:15 Mailman 4%body FAT. listen All PF in the league Mailman still the holds the standard for how a PF should look

  • @EcEryda69 In his prime, he actually reached ridiculous levels of only 3% body fat.

  • Malone went on scoring spree this game because he lost the starting position in the 1990 All-Star game to AC Green.

  • Malone put up 27 points per game and just missed out on his second MVP award, losing to Michael Jordan.

  • Malone won his second MVP award and the Jazz went 37–13 in the abbreviated season

  • All I hear is the mailman the mailman!!!

  • Karl Malone is one of only two people to score 60 playing less than 40 minutes.

  • As great a PF Nowitzki is, he won't be able to guard this beast.

  • Nowitzki can't guard shit, that nigga soft as babycheeks.

  • insanfe fg% too

  • brodazunino, I love playing basketball. I am only 5'9 and I can dunk! I simply took this training program at 50 inch vertical (dot) com - you can probably do it too

  • hey, sick plays. #VIDEOPOSTERID# I particularly like the beginning =P Could you imagine that I worked out enough to begin dunking! I just followed the the nba training routine at (50 inch vertical [dot] com) and did it in only 6 weeks

All 61 points by Utah Jazz Karl Malone against the Bucks

  • this was right after AC Green was voted as a starter for the all star game instead of Karl. Stockton knew he was pissed, so he told Karl that Armen Gilliam of Milwaukee had said that Karl was overrated....which was a lie, he never said that about Karl. years later, when Armen joined the Jazz, the truth about this night finally came out

  • @MrAmore94 lol dirk is good but not best PF all time he's a different kind of PF

  • That's why they call him the mailman

  • best PF of all time

  • best PF of all time

  • this is a POWER forward

  • this is a POWER forward

  • hands down Malone is the best power forward ever....and yes he did shat on Barkley and Rodman....not to take away from Barkley who was a spectacular player in his own right and Rodman is pretty much the best defender of all time.....Malone was consistent and fantastic through out his entire career and everyone who says otherwise is a moron plain and simple...not an opinion...it's a fact

  • He's the best offensive power forward ever. Tim Duncan is all around. As much of a Jazz fan as I am Malone never was that great of a defensive player. Barkley and Rodman are defensive legends while Malone is an offensive legend. Tim Duncan is the best power forward of all time.

  • Malone has the most defensive rebounds of all time and he's in the top 25 in most steals of all time as well....to say that Malone wasn't much of a defensive player isn't a smart choice....he was big, rough and tumble and a hustler....in the all in all I would put 1. Malone 2. Duncan but it's close no doubt....Malone did have a few All Defensive First Team selections...so one can't say he didn't play defense....and it's tough to put Duncan in that category considering he plays Center a lot too

  • @longbowgold67 Barkley's a "defensive legend"?

There goes your cred. Of course, it was MIA when you said Malone "wasn't that great of a defender". He was an awesome man to man defender. And I mean one of the best ever.

He made a guy like David Robinson into a hand puppet over multiple playoff series. Malone guarded Robinson, Robinson guarded Malone, and Malone owned him on both ends.

As bad as Hakeem owned Robinson, Malone did an even better job defensively.

He did the same with TD/KG. At 40

  • i disagree. malone had greater longevity than barkley, who's career was shortened by injuries, but barkley was the better player. better to watch, a better on court leader and better statistically. of all the relevant stats, ie rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, scoring, shooting % etc. barkley has malone covered in every one bar scoring, and this is probably only because malone had one of the best point guards ever dishing to him. at his peak, barkley was better in every facet of the game

  • @bigmike9482 I think Duncan is better and i'm the first who loves the old game.

  • @bigmike9482

bwhaha LOLS NOT EVEN CLOSE FAGGIT loser lols

he didn't "shat" on neone faggit bitch pussi

how in the hell can you say barkley in this one lols, barkley's post game was IONS better than malone.

OH AND THE GREATEST PF OF ALL TIME IS ACTUALLY TIM DUNCAN STUPID FUCK.

2ND GREATEST IS BOB PETTIT. Pettit has 2 mvps like malone AND championship stupid little shit lols

god niggers are dumb lols sorri but yea wil mike lols sorri but yea kid

  • @bigmike9482 Not really. Its Tim Duncan.

  • i was at this game and was 15 years old at the time.. karl malone came out of the lockeroom and signed my game magazine that night., i was the only person he signed an autograph for before the game.

  • 2:00 shot by John Stockton was a goal tend... Karl Malone would've gotten 59 points if it wasn't for that lol

  • Great Player. Never in the Level of a Healthy Barkley ofcourse

  • fuck you

  • Karl used to shit on Barkley too !!

  • No one ever "shat" on Barkley. You're being stupid.

  • @AceroySangre You think Barkley is better?

    You're biased.

  • 144-96.... How the hell is he still in the game if it's amost a 50 point game.

  • Do you want to tell Karl Malone to get out of the game when he is feeling it like that? He only played 33 min. Kobe scored 61 in 37 min against a crappy Knicks team.

  • Kobe Scored 62 points in 33 minutes against the Mavs in the 05-06 season, and he didn't even play the 4th quarter. I don't see what your point is.

I don't have a problem with Karl scoring 61... But the score clearly indicates that he should not have played when the game was really bad. You don't risk injury to your best players.

  • Then Karl played the same amount of minutes as Kobe during that game. Big deal. How can you even tell how much of the 4th he played?

  • he was taken out the first part of the fourth quarter. i was at the game.. he could have easily scored 75. The reason he scored that many is because he was pissed that the fans didn't vote him on the first team allstar game that year, and instead the fans voted in AC Green.

  • Malone was an in shape Barkley, and had a much better shot.

  • Karl Malone was one of my favorite players, looking past all the mistakes he made in his life.

  • Lol @ 2:00, not calling goaltending.

  • this was after the fans voted A.C. Green a starter in the All Star Game over Karl. John told Karl that Armen Gilliam of the Bucks had told the press that Karl was not as good as everyone said he was. truth is, Armen never said that, John just knew how to get Karl going

  • Mailman & Stockton... i grew with you.. cheers from Indonesia!

  • Charles Barkley and Karl Malone would destroy this pussy league. Best REAL PFs Ever. In a fast paced game Malone would destroy Duncan IMO and Barkley owned Duncan and Garnett as a crippled aged, knee dead and back dead 34-36 year old man weighig 288 lbs

  • Look, I respect the greats as much as everybody, and Malone is one of my favorite players ever, but that's just ignorant to say. Duncan is an absolute legend who has led his team to championships time after time. And Garnett is one of the most athletic and best shooting big men of all time. You simply can't count them out.

  • @NR92CP Duncan faced one good team in the Finals in his career. I'd like to see him play a team like the Dynasty Bulls and come out with any titles.

Give Karl Malone a date against the New Jersey Nets or Cavs and I think Utah has a couple titles.

In fact, the one time Duncan faced a team of any merit in the Finals, he was awful. Just awful. Barely scored twenty a night, and almost gave the series away in game 5 against Det.

Horry bailed his ass out there.

  • @sunshinebutmorerain

Remember that you dont get a free ticket to the finals, you have to beat 3 teams first.

  • Yeah, and get Olaujowon (not sure on the spelling) on D. :D

  • "DESTROY" Duncan and Garnett? Never has there been a more inappropriate hyperbole.

  • Malone was a better offense player than Duncan and KG for sure.

  • Sure, but KG and Duncan are/were both elite defenders. He certainly wouldn't "destroy" them, and on the other end, he'd have trouble guarding either.

  • Yap, but Rodman was a better defender than KG and Duncan. He couldnt stop Malone.

  • Rodman was the best pure rebounder in league history, but he was in no way a better defender than Duncan or Garnett. Those two have about as good a defense as you'll ever find from a PF.

  • Rodman had two defensive player of the year.

I doubt you, youre only 22. KG and Duncan are best in this era, and Rodman's prime was about 13 years ago. You were just 9, how did you know about him?

  • Haha, don't take my channel age or channel itself seriously. I'm not 22. Even if I hadn't seen most of Rodman's games, I've seen plenty through ESPN classic, and I still maintain that he was not as good a defender as KG/Tim.

  • You keep your point, I have mine.

  • Fair enough. Mine's just better. :D

  • Now you act like 5 yrs old.

  • It was a joke. lol

Some people are way too testy.

  • Actually, it's not. It's true that both KG/Duncan are better team defenders than Rodman. But as far as 1on1 and overall versatility, Rodman tops both with relative ease.

  • Speaking of relative, opinions are relative. It's easy to say so-and-so is a better defender than so-and-so if it's blatantly obvious, like Battier and Vujacic. But saying Rodman tops KG/Duncan with ease? Your opinion. I don't agree with it in the least, but fair enough.

  • I did say relative. As in there's really no legitimate debate. Doesn't really matter if it's close or not. I'd love to see Duncan/KG check prime MJ/Magic. Hint: it wouldn't be pretty.

  • Relative has multiple definitions. You clearly didn't understand what I was getting at.

And why in the name of David Stern would Duncan/KG check Jordan/Magic, who play such radically different positions? It's like me saying, "Yeah, well Rodman's a good defender, but I'd love to see him try to check prime Magic/Stockton. Hint: it wouldn't be pretty".

  • Karl shit on Rodman in the playoffs!!

  • No he didn't. But your blatantly wrong opinion is duly noted.

  • @mt883

Your response is not a valid one, you ignorant prick. No "HE" didn't, who? Who the hell are you talking about? You've yet to provide any semblance of a counterargument towards anything I've said. Christ, has reading comprehension failed you THAT hard?!

You are the quintessential youtuber. I expect nothing else, honestly.

  • @IOYB You need to learn the difference between team defense -- rim protection -- and man.

As far as being shotblockers, yes, Duncan and KG are better. But as position defenders, man to man, Rodman was a beast. Neither Duncan or KG are close to him as far as positional ability.

Nor, for that matter, are Duncan/KG nearly as great as Karl Malone was at positional defense.

  • @sunshinebutmorerain

This entire comment reeks of ignorance. The fact that you noted Malone as a better "positional" defender (whatever the hell that arbitrary crap means) should discredit your entire argument in itself. Malone may be a better scorer than Duncan (though he DID play with one of the greatest passers or all time), but defensively? Please.

Duncan's defensive ratings rank far higher than Malone OR Rodman, and Rodman played with Pippen/Jordan. Duncan? He ANCHORED his team defense.

  • @IOYB "The fact that you noted Malone as a better "positional" defender (whatever the hell that arbitrary crap means)"

So, basic understanding of the game is, to you, arbitrary? Thanks for explicating that.

It's humorous how little you obviously know about basketball. Your lacking vernacular, and basic inability to understand context, certainly aren't helping you either.

It seems your argument is, altogether, your own ignorance.

  • @sunshinebutmorerain

You really should have laid this argument to rest, because there is none. You've also managed to convey nothing of substance in that last rant of yours, except for the fact that you confuse meaningless eloquence for logic. There is no such thing as "positional " defense in the basketball handbook. It's something you've arbitrarily come up with to justify the bat-shit ludicrous claim that Malone was a better defender (in any facet) than Duncan/KG.

    I'd advise using data.

  • @IOYB

positional defender = can play his matchup one on one, e.g., PF versus PF without help. Karl malone was a great positional defender, but not a great team or help defender. Malone rarely got weakside blocks, etc. But he was a great one on one defender against scoring PFs. Barkley was a decent positional defender but a superb help defender, as a contrast.

  • @klined

I appreciate the response, but that's essentially man defense, defending one's counterpart alone. At any rate, it still doesn't help his "argument", but w/e.

  • @IOYB DUNCAN WAS A GREAT DEF. BUT MALONE WAS VERY GOOD TO(3 FIRST DEF.TEAM AND 1SECOND).ALTHOUGH TIM WAS BETTER DEF,KARL WAS MUCH BETTER IN OFFENSE AND HAD MUCH MORE LENGHT.DUNCAN FACED AGED KNIKS WITHOU EWING,NETS AND CAVS(MAYBE THE WORST TEAM PLAYED IN NBA FINALS).THE ONLY GOOD TEAM HE FACED WAS PISTONS.

  • @IOYB He arguably shut down Duncan in the 04 playoffs. At forty.

And he KG had a lot of trouble with him in the WCF that year.

As for prime Malone, the only other time Duncan and Malone went at it Malone also got the better of the matchup. In the 98 playoffs the Jazz beat the Spurs in 5, and much of that had to do with Malone outclassing SA's lineup of Duncan and Robinson.

First two games Duncan was awesome. But Malone was more clutch, and then went NUTS in the fourth game, ending the series.

  • @AceroySangre yes yes i agree

  • i bet commentators loved saying 'karl malone'. rolls right off the tongue.

  • Malone got better as he got older......simply put...the best PF ever......

  • 2 things.

how many of his points were off stockton dimes?

and who the fuck was supposed to be guarding him? ha

  • I bet you think Kobe was amazing when he scored 81 pts in a game too.. except it was against the worst team in the NBA at the time, the Toronto Raptors...very impressive, not

  • If you want to make the argument that Duncan is a better PLAYER than Malone, then that might be a decent argument. But I don't think Duncan is even the third best pf of all time. What Barkley did at 6'7 is MUCH more impressive than what Duncan's done at 7ft. Malone and Barkley spent their whole carriers playing against bigger players while Duncan has spent his whole carrier playing against smaller players. And the whole ring thing is silly.EVERYONE knows, no Genoble, no ring. MJ won with anyone.

  • i like malone but he isnt better than duncan, unless of course your standard happens to be something other than winning... made me sick to watch him don the purple and gold when the fakers tried to buy their championship.

  • at least he waited for stockton to retire.

  • Whatever, karl won plenty. The only thing tim duncan has on malone is the fact that he didn't have to play mj in the finals.

  • yeah he won plenty but he never won the big one, and TD won over the lakers twice in the shaq/kobe era, so its close enough

  • MJ's bulls were on a different level then even the shaq/kobe lakers, not close enough. Those spurs would've stood less of a chance than the stockon malone jazz

  • Stockton and Malone SWEPT shaq/kobe.. so I don't understand the point of your argument.

  • fakers?

    buy a championship?

    what are u retarded?

  • yeah the fakers, and yeah buy a championship...you know like the yankees, cowboys, etc... load up the roster with superstars in a ditch effort to win it all and then fall flat on their faces. No im not retarded, im a basketball fan and i dont like the lakers, mostly becasue of their arrogant and feeble minded fan base, that and KoME

  • wow um..

isnt that how its supposed to go?

    and it almost worked too.

and you shouldnt be talking shit, 09 CHAMPS

  • sorry guy, its an opinion and if it hurts your feelings, you might want to stay off of public comment forums. maybe thats how you guys like it but people with respect for the game like to see teams that work and grow together go far, instead of a rich owner who just buys up names and tries to stick them together. so um...no, thats not how its supposed to go. I'll wont like/respect the Lakers until KoME retires and his fans latch onto the next selfish arrogant ego-driven icon. almost isnt enough.

  • kome?

this lakers team went far, at least the 09 lakers, i mite partially agree on the 04 lakers but 09 no way.

  • Malone rulezz!

  • Second most points in NBA history, only behind Kareem Abdul Jabar.

  • World B. Free jacked up alot of shots too.....and never won a championship.

  • he woulda had the all-time record if it wasnt for the reduced 98-99 season and if he wasn't injured for his last season... GRRRR!!!

  • i think a championship means more than scoring

  • Them Mailman delivers

  • why do you use san andreas theme song? it sucks

  • cuz it's the best video game ever

  • lol

  • This Guy is a hero Tim (boring) Duncan is a girl compared to the mailman!!! like ARKO942 said

    Malone rulez

  • Perhaps that is why Malone was Duncan's private bitch on the court until the Snailman got run out of the league.

  • tim duncan was 0-2 against malone in the playoffs. enough said.

  • might be good enough for you, but how many rings does the mailman have? enough said.

  • did duncan have to play jordan in the finals? and how many rings do you have?

  • 3: 1) wedding ring 2) Graduation ring 3) Conference champions

....no nba finals rings for me =(

  • ur the same damn liweiwu007 thats a laker hater?

    fuck u

  • and he only did it in 31 minutes of playing, other players who have scored more in a game have usually played the whole game, even overtime like when MJ scored 69

  • APPRECIATE FOR THE 61, BRO.

  • Malone over Duncan anyday anytime

  • Tim Duncan is a girl compared to the mailman!!!

  • 61 points and only 2 jumpr shots. Karl took high percentage shots all the time, he's Mr efficiency not Duncan.

  • he is so ausome, he came to my school and hes freakin sweet!

  • and the b-slap of the support at 3:40 is classic

  • first of all, i LOVE hearing Hot Rod Hundley in his prime. most underrated play-by-play guy in the league he described everything perfectly for radio. second: it doesn't say it in the info, but this was the game after the all-star selection when malone got snubbed. i love revenge games.

  • Didn't Hot Rod do simulcast games back then (radio and TV at the same time)?

  • Karl Malone is the greatest power foreward to ever play the game.

    thanks for this video

  • the best forward who ever lived!!!!! no homo
