I can't thank you enough for putting this clip on youtube, I had it on video until the tape gave up years ago, I never thought I'd see it again, he was a great humble champion, really missed by anybody who knew him or followed him.
My wife's Ist cousin, his dad and her dad where brothers. I didnt meet him although I followed his car racing a lot, saw the crash on tv when he died.
He was my hero when I was young & I have never heard anybody ever say a bad word about him. A great ambassador for motorcycling & will always be remembered as the greatest aussie road racer ever.
Amazing, he survived those years on those two wheeled monster machines but ultimately lost his life in the tourers. Definitely left this world far too soon.
I worked with Gregg when he ran the Camel Pro Series here in the states...good man...Godspeed Gregg

well ud probably have to say Doohan ws the greatest but yeah Hansord was rated by Roberts as one of the most talented riders he'd ever seen.

I used to live next to the house that he says he built! : ) great guy and nice to see a clip on youtube about him, shame his life ended early.
