Before we can compare whether Muhammad is the one mentioned in Deut 18, we have to first establish that he's a prophet. According to the Bible & the Quran he’s not. For instance, The Bible states in Gen 7:21 that God made it clear to Abraham: "My Covenant shall be established through Isaac." Then God repeats it in Gen 21:12 "It is through Isaac that your offspring shall be reckoned." Now there is no mention of Ishmael's descendants such as Muhammad. Surah 29:27 confirms this as well.

First the pronunciation of (mem, chett(het), mem, dalet.) (which they are the letters of the word muhammed) are pronounced " muhammede'em" in hebrew language, which you have heard from the rabbi.

The last part "e'em" is a plural of respect, which you can find in all of eastern languages that there is a plural of respect. ('מחמד is not a translation to muhammed)
