I loved this episode! I was wondering if you have the clip that follows this when Martha and Clark are talking in the barn? I always thought that scene was so great because it really highlights Clark's humanity and it's just so sweet.

This episode is in my top five. I'll never forget watching it when it first aired......it was like watching a mini-movie. I remember going to see Harry Potter and being somewhat...not disppointed....but feeling it could be better...then I came back to watch this episode on my DVR, and I so enjoyed this episode....especially where Chloe saves Clark at the end....CHLOE IS AWESOME!!!!

at 1:12 it says clarks the only one that can affect the fortress. i take that to mean he's the only one that can add and remove the crystals. but in season 8 episode 20 chloe removes zod's crystal from the fortress and console... and on a partially different subject Lex in superman returns steals clark's crystals.. lol

Brainiac is my favorite villain. For a Kryptonian artificial intelligence, he sure knows how to manipulate you to the end. Do not underestimate him or one mistake would be fatal to those that crosses his path. My favorite episode of season 5. Thanks Ladydragontl!!

U would think that since the Kryptonite was touching him it would hurt a lot more... but Im guessing if it was direct touching like rock to skin like when he was put in that liquid then it would be worse

maybe, but one thing I have noticed with ripping all these scenes is that the degree in which green k affects clark varies alot, sometimes he can still move other times he is completely helpless.

What I don't understand is why doesn't Brainiac use himself as the vessel? I mean, if Zod enters into Brainiac, he would practically be invincible because Brainiac isn't affected by kryptonite so Zod wouldn't have a chance on being defeated. If they actually did this for season 8 by bringing back Brainiac, this would be an interesting plot, to me.
