  • The sound reminds me of a movie-"The African Queen" with Humphrey Bogart"-HA! I made an electric motor years ago in my youth, armature had 2 poles:)

  • A windshield wiper motor does the same thing. I don't get it.

  • i am really getting tired of this neodymium magnets crap, just make one that i can use for my car and supply power so i dont have to buy gas. Even better, one generator for my house so i dont have to pay 1000 dollars every year to the power company and that way i can have electricity every were i go on this planet

  • Free Energy is real and its here! The Oil companies are doing everything in their power to stop these

information. If you want a Free energy machine do a search in youtube for the LT MAGNET MOTOR , Join the

    revolution!

  • so this is... u get electrisity from engine witch doesnt need power?

  • Awesome sound! Like a Harley or WW2 aircraft!

  • 1:40 "Three Baddies" 2:15 Wiggle!

  • @spikie92 You are lost if you came to this video for Runescape anyone who play's that game is in fact....lost.

  • @spikie92 your 27.. .and you play runescape? thats kinda... wierd

  • I was at work today and got on a train of thought that led me to think if something like this could actually work. Good job! My hypothesis was confirmed by your experiment! I hope you find a practical use for this!

  • cant realy hear what you are saying.

  • Don`t you just love it when the perspex splits

  • Sounds like a V8.

  • Good experiment! Pulse motors are interesting.. I have few magnet -videos too =)

  • Very well demonstrated. Looking forward to more. :)

    Cheers!

  • Do this without any external fuel. Simply plug in, "Fuelless Magnetic Motor" into YouTube.

Nice engineering though. Keep up the nice work.

    James

  • Your work reminds me of Troy Reid. As far as shielding goes, you could probably make a Hallback array.

Thanks for the compliment. Best of luck with your project.

  • Could post a paragraph or two for the layman about what is going on here? I came by almost at random, and now I'm intrigued. Also I see that info is no longer availabe on your site.

  • It's a bit too detailed to summarize here, but in time that may be possible.

  • I doubt this motor would be very efficient on a toy car. Just think about it, 1.6A / 36V and you can slow it down with two fingers.

Maybe use the back emf to charge capacitors/batteries. That would be something.

  • This model as shown also had eight generator coils with cores that it was moving past. The video was to show the way two different circuits behave under mechanical load.. and yes, I have done what you've suggested... see my other videos posted.

  • I have a suggestion to prove it's efficiency.

Build a 4 wheel Electric Toy car that uses the Magnet motor for the front wheels and the back emf for the rear wheel motor. This may be a good way to prove it's effiiciency and usability.

  • Thanks, but there are easier ways.

  • Have you tried measuring the torque vis-a-vis the speed (RPM)??? Your magnet dimensions and grade please...

  • Not on this model. Magnets are 1 inch dia. half inch thick grade 27 I think.. they were given to me and are over ten years old.

  • Do you have capacitors hooked up to this?

  • Yes... in two different arrangemets. One just standard in parallel where the current goes up when loaded, and the other wired a bit different so when loaded the current draw does not change much.

  • Are this Bedini Motor...?

And how much it give Watts?

    Nice Construction!

  • No... more like an modified Adam's motor. I did not test the output on this one.

  • Isnt there a way to capture back emf and use it to charge the batterys.

  • with a diode

  • More precisely full bridge rectifier. BEMF is collapsing magnetic field...it's the same as the forward pulse, except it's a much faster event and reversed polarity.

  • Yeah, the comments to your question answered below by others are pretty standard.

  • Sounds like Cadilac V8 motor. Nice work!

  • LOL. Or an old John Deer.. thank you!

  • The same kind of motors are used on high speed trains, of course they much les noisy and more efficient but the mekanism is the same.

I like this vedeo, teachers never showed me how it really worked.

  • Thanks. I appreciate the comment and the info.

  • lol it sounds like an ICE

  • laughs... yes I agree!

  • Also, the ready rod as a shaft did not fit into the bearings snugly, so there was a bit of play that made that noise...

  • Wow! It spins and it only takes 3 car batteries. I'm impressed beyond words. :P

  • Indeed. although you counted wrong. ;-)

  • Good, then you can keep your mouth shut.

You will not know WHEN to be impressed because you'll be busy playing with something else.

Ian: beautiful work!! Is it true that these machines can run for fifty to a hundred years only these batteries, as they recharge themselves?

Have you called Sir Richard Branson?

    May I?

    Warren Currier in Boston

  • So what is this good for? I don't understand. :(

  • Gives me something to do and is better than drugs... ;-)

  • can you explain how your switching mechanism works? Trying to determine the circuit when the leads make contact

  • A bit too long to get into that kind of detail here.. perhaps in time, I may do that on a webpage...

  • But does it blend?

  • Very cool! So when you put a load on it, it doesn't draw more power from the source? If this is really the case, you can rotate another wheel on the same shaft and gather the power from it. This is like generating power from nothing...interesting.

Can you please try that out and see what you can get out of it?

    Thanks

  • Yes.. when I use a certain type of circuit...

    ...and yes, in time.

  • very nice switch mecanisem

  • Thanks...
