You're such a lackeey Mackey! But naw i personally use ADW launcher + gingerbread with a ported gingerbread keyboard which works smoothly and live wallpaper on my wildfire :)

I am using this launcher as my default, i find it improves the speed of my device compared to when using launcher pro or htc sense.

What i don't like about it is there's only 5 screens and there's no bounce effect on first and last screens. Trivial i know, but i kinda got used to the bounce cos it told me i'd reached the end.

@arcaninearcede9 you can either go to applications and clear the default home there, or you can download an app called home switcher. I use it myself. It allows you to change the default home app. Hope this helps.

@marcusarelius23 Alright thanks and do you have to root your android to get the actual gingerbread 2.3 update or am i wrong? Cuz it seems that all these launcher are just themes and not really the update.

@arcaninearcede9 As far as i'm aware, 2.3 isn't available to everyone yet. I check once a week to see if the update is avail. I have a Desire 2.2 unrooted and would love the update to 2.3. For now i am using a Home replacement called ADW Launcher with a gingerbread theme. You are correct, Home replacements are just like themes really.
