Try it with a revolver grab the cilinder + put ur fingers at the front part of the cilinder... try its with a .44 or higher, u'll see ur fingers peeling apart like a banana lol.

Actually, grabbing the cylinder of a DA revolver would theoretically keep the gun from being fired since the cylinder wont rotate. That said, I strongly advise against grabbing any gun somebody else is attempting to fire.

@Clavsicus revolver CAN NOT FIRE if you grab the cylinder. The trigger does not have enough mechanical advantage to rotate a jammed cylinder. Revolvers reload at the beginning of the firing cycle, auto pistols at the end of the cycle. With an auto loader you get one shot then the gun is jammed, with a revolver you get no shots.

Besides in this application you are grabbing the weapon as its drawn. who carries a revolver hammer back? dumbfuck

This is the proper way to tacktically disarm an aponent. You grab the gun by the top assembly with your thumb next to the triger guard( causing it to fire) then position your other hand in the back of the gun and rotat it (breaking the oponents finger and retrieving the gun) then you clear the empty cartrage and you good. (Irsrali HAGANA fighting taktic.)
