  • I think ure right, it sounds like a cleanse-fold-& manipiulated-Skinny- trend-style.

  • thanks from Belgium !

  • "Not yet," as Roy Batty puts another nail not in his coffin, but in his hand, the prodigal son... this xMAS let us reflect on Roy, replicant king of kings, modified for our sines...,

  • Al, Rich and Luc Van lifted the entire backing track from Jean-Michel Jarre's "Zoolook" album.... specifically, the track "Wooloomoloo"

Damn smart of them to rip. They gave it a nice Chicago swing. :)

  • The Richard23 days

  • Knew Jim Nash and got back stage with these guys, Ministry, Thrill Kill Cult and Front 242. Living in Chicago had its perks.

  • Best line to come out of post-punk nihilist dream-cycles:

"the voice of god means nothing anymore"

Hm. As if it ever did

  • yeah I got this album ...

  • The 87 Minstry/Cocks show, frak an A I wish to heaven I'd bought the subway poster for Big Sexy Land they were pimping. I bought the tee with three old scruffy dudes from No Devotion's WaxTrax 12". Kicking myself for over two decades and counting...

That'd be the centerpiece of my living room today. I've looked for Shanley on the web and FB, no luck. Never any good stuff on ebay from old Ministry / Revco memorabilia, either.

  • saw them do this tune live in the 80's several times... living near chicago has it's perks!!

  • I used to play video games and crank this up when I was a teen in the 80's

  • What album did Ministry do this on? I thought this was strictly a Revco track.

  • Fuck yeah, baby \o/

  • I still listen to this at work ! I'm am 40 yrs. old and still wear 1490 black Doc's!

  • @ranrio70 :I'm a 41 y.o. stay at home mom with two kids and I still love this!

  • @ranrio70 : I'm a 41 year old stay at home mom of two and I still love this too!

  • I needed to hear this, thanks!

  • hey great one ,add up 10 and that makes my birthday :))

a full 10 btw kwality wise ,too

  • EBM classic from 1985 :)

  • one of the best tracks ever. repetitive and therefore fascinating and hypnotic.

    nevertheless i prefer the studio-version.

    thx for uploading anyway.

  • You...goddamned...son...of...a...bitch...Not!

Nice upload...Deathkill, you have access to soundboard mike feeds like this all the time?

"Quite an experience to live in fear isn't it?" Roy Batty

  • Nah, all the videos I have uploaded are from this one show in 86

I used to have a decent recording of a pre-LORAH tour in 87 but I lost it when my pc got a virus

  • I remember hearing this on the Vanderbilt radio station in Nashville in the mid 80s.

    It's great!

  • Nice one for uploading this. I was suspicious that it was the Revco YGSOAB version until a few bars in.

This is good but the 12 minute Revco original is a spooky, hypnotic, awesome live performance. I used to play it at parties 20 years ago and everyone would get up and go wild asking who it was and where they could get it . Al Jourgensen is a truly creative genius - Love It !

  • Absolutely love it when they drag out this song like this... the intro is high on atmos. Masterfully done by Revolting Cocks themselves on the live cd too.
