  • Hello, I know the model and brand of machine. I am Brazilian excuse any errors in English thank you Google translator *

  • @greisonbassan Eu fiz a máquina sozinho. O roteador é um Bosch 1617. Obrigado por sua pergunta.

  • Nice site and nice machine. I have a Taig CNC and have used it from time to time to cut parts for the Experimental aircraft i'm building. (sonex). I was wondering where you get your REN from? I have looked on Ebay without much luck. Also, I'm using MACH3 Mill and Bobcad 20. What post processor are you using? I havn't actually used my mill in a couple years so I'll have to re-teach myself how to generate code. I'm using it now to engrave my intrument panel.

  • @t2436jf Thanks. I got the REN from a friend who had some scrap. I've also looked on Ebay and had no luck. I'm using a non ATC post processor that BobCAD tweeked for me. Thanks for stopping by. I'd love to see the things you're working on sometime.

  • Nice machine. I noticed you explained how you were bonding the machine frame to your main's ground. You had a coated fastener hidden in the channel of the aluminum frame to do this. Keep in mind that the clear anodizing on the extruded aluminum provides a pretty good amount of resistance. Maybe you sanded it off prior but I couldn't tell.

  • @bp092 Very good point. Thanks for point that out as I did not sand it first. I will correct it asap. Thanks

  • little machine shop sells bellows that are 12" long for like $8 dollars. You could use some of those to protect your linear rails!

I'm at a cross roads of figuring out how to make a Z axis cover, and a way to keep dust out of everything. I plan on doing mainly aluminum sheet so i dont want the chips to get onto my rails where the bearings are :(

  • hello! I recently created a channel in which i make videos on the CNC mill built by me, I will share my passion and experience with all who are interested in this type of work ... if you're interested visit my channel and subscribe ...bye!

  • The new camera is great ;)

Nice that you posted a short from the milling itself to!
