One con I noticed about the design other than what you have said about the pocket is the power switch placement. You have to unplug the phone to flip the switch. It's probably not that big of a deal but it just seems like something that could easily be fixed.

correct me if im wrong, but when he plugs the nano into the ipwr it looks like green light is off, but it charges anyway. also, all batteries lose their charge overtime; there is no way to "disconnect them from their circuitry."

I found out that in America we have the 3GJUICE . Australia has the iPWR. Both are made by AMAXPOWER. And if you buy it at AMAXPOWER(dot)com it's about $45 US Dollars.

This pack looks awesome. It's small size helps it fit in most cases for the iPhone unlike most battery packs that attach to the phone. I also hate the ones that dangle like you have to use a seperate cable and attach it to the battery and the phone having wire in between both that makes it inconvenient.

Thing is though, it's handy that it fits onto older ipod generations to charge them, however because of the placement of the earphone jack is sometimes at the bottom beside the power charger it means it will get in the way. So my ipod touch 1st gen wouldn't allow me to charge and listen to audio at the same time.

There's another phone charger on thinkgeekcom that I'll think you'll like blunty...it charges itself from a fold out solar panels and then you plug into your phone with a cable (yes more cables) but its a bit more eco friendly and well you can charge anywhere the sun is shining...and you can charge the charger without the sun if need be i think...check it out...i'd love a review by you..you tell it like it is...its 40 USD from when i last checked.

Blunty, I have a friend that will likely be moving back to Australia soon and he has encountered some difficulty from Microsoft (imagine that). His X-Box 360 is an "American Model", and has been told that he cannot just buy an "Australian model" power brick to plug into his American X-Box 360 because of differing *internal* voltage requirements between the two. If you could check on this, I am sure he would appreciate it.
