@Solidagoes Root, 3rd and 5th definitely, this is at least a 3-part harmony. Probably a few 7ths and even 9ths in there too...

The Vocoder is great on this pedal, I have one. However the harmony sucks. You have to be very selective in what chords you play and it works more on slow chords like in this video. Don't think it will work on everthing. In reality It gives you a minor when you play a major, and sometimes cant make up its mind what to give you so flutters on a harmony note. However Vocoder gives great sounds. I'm not the only person who complained about this. Checkout their forum.

theres really on way of saying this without sounding like a dick, and im not trying to be, but trance/dance music has been using vocoders for the past 30 years, auto tune (which tpain uses) is simply an evolution of the original vocoder, which evolved from the talkbox.

@Z0mbieKangar00 With groups such as Kraftwerk, I'd increase that to 35-40 years of usage. Also, I'm not sure that the talkbox was the precursor to the vocoder, but I could be wrong.

@planetrob555 yes. i know, but in not in this form factor. the "stompbox" makes an attraction to experimentalists who don't want to get too bulky in their rigs. I must admit, after futzing with one recently, it has gone straight to the top of my gear acquisition list. I have tried Vocoders in the past and found them to be way too involved and pricey. but give me a box on the floor and i am all over it.
