You probably already know this but all the human players in Softball Tengoku and also some of the human players in Dusty Diamonds are supposed to be celebrities. I don't think any are based on baseball players but there is Antonio Inoki, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mike Tyson, Rocky Balboa, etc.
