The driver was on his cell phone.He said he did not see the bus.I think it is real hard to miss a huge yellow bus.Anyways,the driver has plenty of infractions on his record,most minor,but I think he had about 12 total,and I have no idea how he was able to keep his CDL,but He worked for a hispanic-owned trucking company,so you know no disciplinary action was ever taken.I believe charges will be filed.R.I.P Frances Margay Schee.

I know.If he keeps it I guarantee it'll happen again.He'll probably lose it though.13 infractions is too many.Especially when you kill someone.He oughta be thinking the lord above that he didn't die cause I couldn't even tell what kinda truck it was.

He was an owner-operator leased on to Comtrak Logistics out of Memphis, TN which was owned by a white man until about a year before this tragic accident. The company is now owned by HUB Group which is publicly traded. I worked for Comtrak at the time of this accident. The driver was fired and we were all told to watch this news footage at the next safety class. The following December at the annual Christmas party there was a picture of the little girl that died to remind us all. Very sad.

@Audiolaboratory .....it has been a while since I posted the comment. However, I believe the reason that I used the term "white man" was because of another post by someone on here suggesting that it was an "illegal" driving the truck or maybe something about it being a foreign owned trucking company. I don't remember exactly. I can tell you that since I am white, that it was certainly not to make the race look bad. There was a reason for putting it in here, i will have to read the other post.
