I've played games like this since I was a child. Yes, I get scared but that's what makes it fun. It's the thrill of the fright and thrill of the unexpected. If you don't jump out of your seat couple of times, then you're not really getting the full experience of the game. Oh and btw, I'm a woman and to say that women can't play these kinds of games is highly biased because guys can wuss out too.

@DarkNightmareRose The best Amnesia freakout I've ever seen was a guy, ironically, and the most nonchalant "oh whatever water monsters" player was a woman. D: It doesn't scare every gamer, but those it does, it REALLY scares. You really have to appreciate the ambiance to find Amnesia scary, being scared shitless but still making it through is the goal, in my opinion.
