3M carbon fiber LOOK vinyl would have been cheaper than all those unneeded spray cans.

Even real carbon fiber is not that expensive, and if you just want the look not the ultra low weight & good strength, it can be laminated using clear UV resistant polyster resin without vacuum forming.

Doing shitty jobs like this will teach you nothing, and you will continue to do other shitty jobs.

instead of using black to highlight, should've used a gold or graphite and spraying right over top of the silver and the template, looks 10x more real. or just buy the real shit or 3M Di-NOC vinyl lol whichever.

Great tutorial i tried this on my Pocket bike and it didn't work, way to much curves. I suggest when someone else is doing this, is to have the template to be skinny nothing think. and do it on a flat surface .

that looks good but you did it wrong...your supposed to spray the silver down first and then spray the black through the liner and instead of doin highlights spray more black on the whole thing but make it like fall on it instead of spraying directly on it so it doesnt completely cover up the silver...it looks way nicer and adds a better, realer effect

Well, you like cars and such, but this effect isn't for cars, it's for things like computer cases or enclosures. It would be stupid to buy and use carbon fiber for such things. Or at least a lot more trouble then it is worth.

This technique is fine for some things, but I prefer the look when you use a silver base coat and spray back through the mesh, then use a fine black coat on top (not just highlights), it winds up looking a bit more like carbon fiber. Give it a try.
