I really like this video because it is very helpful and it gives me a lot of knowledge about the file types. I never knew in depth what each file type means. I use mp3 for most of my songs but I will now use more aac

I've heard of all these formats but never really knew its history and how they differed to one another, but this video helped me learn all those new facts. Even though just about all of my music files are .mp3 formats, I gotta start getting .aac's for some of my favorites songs.

I only heard of MP3 and WAV before, but I never really knew what they exactly were or how they were different from each other. I never knew what AAC and PCM were, so I'm thankful that I do now. MP3 can compress the size of an audio file so much! Now I understand why people use specific audio file choices. Thank you for teaching us these basics!

i learned that there are lots of varieties of audio formats. The WAV and AAC formats are a bit unuseful in my opinion, because you need to have windows or a mac and you cant hear from AAC if you have windows and WAV if you have a mac. I would prefer MP3 files.

This is a great study guide for the quiz, but also is a great knowledge on how our music economy and market system works and interacts with the consumers. I actually didn't know what MP3 stands for and what it does to the music, even though I had 1500 songs in my i-pod. Many features that has different quality explained me a lot about music and audio.

From this video, I learned how there are different types of audios that help make different quality of sounds and sizes. I also learned that smaller is better because bitting at a high rate would just make qualities worse. Apple and Microsoft has created audio files to make the file smaller in order to fit more song into iTunes or other uses.

This video taught me that different formats can mean a lot to a photo or video. Even if the quality is good, i think you should watch the memory as well because it can help you save storage space and money if you buy some more storage in the long run.

I didn't know how efficient an MP3 file can be in saving space. I learned what a bit rate is which has a 128 Kbps standard. Also, I learned how to change all the settings in Itunes (such as changing a WAV to MP3 file).

I always thought mp3, wav, wma, etc were all the same thing. I never knew wma was only for windows computers either. I ALSO never knew the power of .mp3! I still don't understand how the Europeans came about to create it. I think the reason why the music didn't work on our dance performance was because it was in mp3. Next time I should convert it to WAV

I was always really frustrated as to the many varieties of compressed music files. Now I know that there is a difference in quality depending on the type of file; it's something I never would have realized because I never use stereos or speakers.

This video really helped clarify things regarding sound files, especially MP3, and why makes them so useful (make the files more compact). It was really useful to learn about bit rate. I now know how to control the quality of sound files, and how choosing a higher bit rate would provide a better quality but take up more space at the same time. I can definitely apply the concepts in this video whenever I'm transferring sound files to itunes etc. Thanks!
