I'm only expressing my opinion, but honestly, today Pioneer is so centered in adding EFFECTS to the music, and nothing more. Yes, it's true that effects add new dimensions to the tracks, but they are not something to be applied every minute. The true enthusiast knows the definition of every effect, and knows how to use it, and where to use it. He don't need to put all effects again and again. But it's ok: Every artist has his style.

@Max16032 the problem with your comment is that your assuming this is how he performs. All this video is doing is showcasing the effects on the 1000. No one said you had to implement the effects as frequently as he does, rather showing you what you can implement.

is there anyway to do that first effect without the djm800 iv everything except that but i just put the EFX between the mixer and speaker output. any advice would help shame not to get the gears full potential oven not being able to set it up right. and also what connection do you use between the cdj and the mixer it not standard phono lead anyways ??

You need to use the send/return function for full potential. between CDJ and mixer: either normal RCA or digital

Ahhh this is nice! ... one thing i dont understand is how does the send/return work ... i mean does the input of every channel travel through the EFX?

trick i saw zabiela do that i use a lot is when you have it set to echo, pick 8 beats, then hold the tap button down and press the 4 beat button at the same time. let go of both, and press 8 beat button again, you can now loop 16 beats. which is handy if you are like me, have one cdj and one efx-1000 and one turntable.

the efx runs on ebay used around 600 (i do not mind used, especially with pioneer equipment)

and the 909 runs around 800 to 900

i know the 909 has alot of the same stuff , but thats my understanding and im not sure how correct that is
