  • i see that u used a anchor. what type of anchor was it?? cause im trying to look one for my new kayak

  • I think I was using a 3 pound folding anchor in the video. What type of anchor you will need will depend on the conditions you fish - water depth and current mainly. Here in SW Florida, we don't have extreme current usually and the water that I am fishing in the video is only about 18 inches deep. I usually use a stake off pole, but the bottom is very hard where this was shot and the anchor works better.

  • What is the name of the tool used to take the fish out of the water, please.

  • I am using a Bogagrip. Excellent for the kayak. If you notice, I actually let the fish go a few times while trying to land him. Bogagrips are so good that fish like baby tarpon can hurt themselves if they are too "green" when on the Boga. Great tool though - I highly recommend them!

  • Nice video and fun looking fish!

  • man what line you use? and the rod is shimano rigth?

  • I think I got that fish on a Crowder 8-15lb with 20 lb sufix braid.

  • Wow what a scrappy fish.

  • gettin a kayak in a week or so! cant wait!!!!

  • Glad to see this up for everyone to enjoy!!
