"AMANDAAAA!!" Oh my gosh, you can totally tell he's a metal singer. I've loved Stryper all my life and I've loved Boston too, and this mix is simply magical. But... Mike's all metal my friends... "scream for mee!!!! and let's say a prayer..."
Sweet is just not the right choice. I'm really underwhelmed. He's a good singer, but on nearly every Boston video I've seen, he seems to shy away from the more challenging high parts and some of the little runs and riffs that are really integral to the songs themselves. Fran Cosmo had a better take on these songs I think...
I am glad that Boston is carrying on and no better singer to take the lead than Michael Sweet. It is a shame that Brad had to kill himself but thankfully the band continues and that everything didn't die with Brad. Thanks for sharing this video!!
As much as I love Boston and Brad's voice, I honestly think Michael is a better singer. No offense to diehard Boston fans, hope I didn't anger anyone. Just one fan's opinion.
Boston is my all time favorite group, I saw them in Iowa City in 1977. Stryper is my second favorite group, I saw them in 1987. In 2003 and 2004 I was in Iraq, my brother went to see Boston and Brad wrote a message to me on a T shirt, it is one of my most prized possesions. Michael is not Brad in any way, Boston will never be the same but Michael does an excellent job and I will continue to listen to them as long as I am alive. Bye Brad you are missed, hello Michael welcome aboard.
I have to take a stand on this. This song should have been left alone. No one on earth can sing this or any Boston song like Brad Delp. I know we can't have everything the way it used to be, but I just haven't adapted to the "New Boston" yet. I always find that nothing lifts my spirits when I'm feeling down, like the original voice of Boston. Brad you are sadly missed!!!
"did you shoot this from the parking lot"... lmao!

given the fact that Micheal's wife is fighting cancer, at this time, it is certainly appropriate
for him to be singing it. He's singing it for his wife
