i just love garys playing, just the his overall style gets me for some reason, his chops are mindblowing, i like his feel better than colaiutas or weckls,and his musicality is beyond reason, my favorite fusion drummer to listen too period. maybe my favorite drummer to listen to ever.

Can't forget my stupid statement when I saw him for the first time "He's faster than Weckl"....

This guy is great. And is much more than "faster than...". I won't make another stupid statement saying that he's better than anybody, but he mixes thing you don't always find in many drummers: technique, great sound, feel, power, musicality, finesse.... Someone to learn from.

K "16" China? It´s what´s greatest to me - much better than Weckl´s "14" on 18 crash. This is perfectly balanced with so much Space sound.
