  • Well, consider this: USA peaked in the 70s and every other country has peaked up to today. Up to know there is no shortage on the markets. In combination with the financial crisis the elite inflicted on us now i guess everything is working according to plan.Question of peak oil or not is irrelevant considering what lies ahead of humanity....

  • I thik you did a pretty good job here of raising the questions that we all need to be asking. Peak oil is a reality; today, tomorrow, maybe a couple of decades away. Yet our governments remain silent on it. I wonder what we will say when our grandchildren ask us what we did about peak oil?

  • Your video seems to paint a somewhat accurate picture of peak oil, Then suggests we are mis-informed for a small group of people to get very rich. When the oil crash happens, without a suitable energy replacement, our economy and many other things will collapse, making that wealth totally pointless. For me your taking a real issue and dabbing it in conspiracy, whereas the issue itself is all that needs to be put to people whilst it isnt recognised by world leadrers and governments.

  • What does this smarmy sounding Brit know about AMERICAN oil?

See my Peak Oil video for the truth about it.

  • The answer to our problems is right in front of our face, but no one wants to go back to the way things were in the 1960s. Having mom-and-pop stores for our basic needs and the large chains for the rest would fix all our problems. We need to work together as Americans and go back to the day when you knew who you could trust. We have the technology to get over 120 mpg, but us conceited Americans can't do without the sports cars and we can't abide by the posted speed limits.

  • @badattitude77769 You are correct that there is a lot of oil in the ground....but it has got to the point where the easily accessible oil is almost gone......and now producing oil at the pace of demand is a strain

  • @jmallton I agree, but believe the oil prices and policy is all about making money and honestly believe that unforturnatly, here in america conservation is the key as we honestly are wasteful, do not take that personal anyone, I just think it is the truth.

There are so many alternatives but many would take away the profit motive.

  • Shit doc.

  • I don't want to be dependent on oil because it makes me feel like a slave.

  • Miss missreported reserve figures? I work in oil and gas equity research and find that statement ridiculous. 3rd parties evaluate reserves not companies.

  • What if, just what if the people in power do not care about peak oil because they can use demand destruction (reduction of population in the range of 95-98%) and profit from this(by raising prices) to the very last end...what if??

  • what if you took a shit and died.... what if??

  • what's your problem? have i offended you some how??? :-/

  • I'm saying what if is worth less than zero... I apologize if I hurt your feeling... look up the Russians and their abiotic oil from 8 miles in the crust to know the truth bout peak oil

  • The real problem is not oil but our relation to oil! Cheap oil makes our lifes better, but we are affectet by tow things supply and taxes. We all know that supply is not constant even with a large amount of oil in the ground but mix that with economic collapse and taxes and you will undestand better demand distruction.

  • Ahh but see, now we've agreed (to some extent) that its not King Hubbards graph that worries us, but the commodities futures market. We've already seen how goldman sacchs can manipulate that. It's not the pseudoscience where the danger lies, but the shaky socioeconomic situation we currently face. The government could declare peak oil tomorrow, say national security no gets oil but us, and wreck the worlds economy... see how the science of peak oil wont matter, just like climate change

  • @imthemac420 Lol abiotic oil lol

+ even if there is oil 8 miles in the ground it would be way to expensive to use

  • @24DEX that is exactly what criminal kissinger wants to do..u got it..

  • Russia has promised 100 year of Oil and Gas to Europe, so there is NO peak oil

  • What about after 100 years? :)...

  • Abiotic

  • @imthemac420 idiotic

  • @yarco8000 What was?... your response?.. ya, sure was

  • Russian and Middle Eaast oil production have flattened, so we are now just past peak.

  • In 1970 US pop was 205 million, China's 830 million, those have increased by a half respectively, and in 1970 there were almost no cars in China, now they use 7 m barrels / oil day. US, Mexican, Norwegian and British oil production is all in decline.

  • Fact of the matter is, as evidenced by the number of views of these videos, that nobody really understands peak oil or Hubbert's basic bell curves describing oil production from a group of oil fields or individual oil fields. The oil companies have every reason to keep people using oil until there is none left, so you're right on that point, and you're also right about the government not even mentioning oil production problems in the mainstream media.

  • The fact of the matter is that if no company or group of companies gets together to actually develop an alternative to oil, then none is forthcoming. But it's the consumer who controls how much is used. There's no disinformation, the EIA has data that consistently shown decreasing oil reserves and production, and it's on their website. Similar data is available for Mexico and Norwegian production, and it is declining. They can't all be lying.

  • Great video

    Thanks for your efforts

  • Hi, I just got done watchng your two-part documentary and I need to ask:

Are you simply saying that while you DO believe in Peak Oil, your true complaint is against what you see as a current practice of all the info surrounding it being manipulated by Big Oil to maintain profits from the public?

In order words, you're not a Peak Oil debunker, right?

  • I gotta admit I'm slightly confused as well. But I guess what he's trying to say is that PO has been used in the past to drive up prices. This may also be the case today, but this time around it's actually a real problem. But if PO makes you question the consumer society, it's promptly denied or obfuscated (i.e. WEO 2008) - again for the sole purpose of profit and power.

Thus the elites will tell you whatever strengthens their hold on power, whether it's true or not. It's up to you to find out.

  • Hi, I got a very polite PM from the guy who runs this channel where he explained that he IS a Peak Oiler and not at all a debunker. (But beyond that, I'll let him speak for himself.)

And he's now my very first subscriber! :) :)
