You forgot to mention that at the time, the Pacific caused more American Causalities than in the European front. I say American because no Russians, Europeans, Canadians, participated in that war. It was practically Asian nations and America who fought that war, no one else. I guess they deserve praise for that.

Not from what I heard. In European Front, they had allies in which aided them, yet in the Pacific Front, they were confined to the sea's and their vessels, with no allies; and to make it worse they had to fend off suicide Bombers. And those who were executed in POW camps.
