O2 iPhone vs. Orange iPhone

I went with orange because of O2s poor 3g coverage in my local area and was really amazed at the speed of the internet on the iphone. Using the speed test app i have had speeds of 2688kbps over wifi and 1675kbps on mobile internet. It really blows away my old s8000jet on 3 network. im really impressed.

Im not getting an orange iphone its contracts are exactly the same price as my o2 ones? Who is arsed about lightly better 3G coverage? I also hate orange in the fact their broadband is equal to a shit bag wrapped in a scrotum and pissed on by a donkey and absorbs all of a tramps cum! i receive 2 mbps (pathetic) while my nextdoor neighbour on o2 receives 7.6 mbps! And we pay the axact same amount per month (£15)

@McLaren9009 on what do u base that??? i was looking to swap to o2 cos i have broadband...and that is top notch!! but o2 can`t give a better deal on calls & txt @ all time & all over the world like orange can!!! not even t-mobile or vodafone!!So.. sorry orange might be a pain at times... but it has the good deals!!!

they may have better deals but until you expierience orange broadband and there technincal advice, you will want them to got o hell! I am on o2 phone and broadband and i havn't had any problems, and i if i have technincal issues, they sort them without any fuss. not some idian sticking to the script..."have you reset your router?".."erm yes i done that like 50 times"..."ok...erm....reset your router"..ahhh!

u might be right i don't have orange broad band,,, only mobile... and regarding solving the problems well ... Mobile no problem what so ever always a next day delivery of a new hand set if the problem can`t be solve there and than!!! so happy days!! plus i used orange all over the EU... and so far the best network ever!!! hey leave to poor speaking Indian alone... he is just doing a job!! be understanding maybe u`ll get out something more.... how many languages do u speak!?!?

no that's be cause they upgraded the os. all the network does it send an receive signals to and from your phone

No there isn't any change, other than at the top it will say orange instead of O2 u know taht bit where it tells u what the network is. otherwise everything else is the same. Except with orange u can have the orange wednesdays app, it only works with orange u get 2 for 1 cinema tickets. Personally Orange is better, the deals are better. I know cos I have the Orange one and my mate has O2

so if i get iphone 3gs, can i go on the internet without connecting to a wi fi for free? on both orange or o2 so like when im out and about anywhere i can just go onto any website for free?

orange may have a faster network but the "unlimited" internet for o2 is "unlimited" (With fair usage policy stopping you using it as modem, streaming continuously ) orange on the other hand has a 750mb limit. .. o2 wins on that one? XD

Is this O2 iPhone your using brand new? I'm sure that safari has a cache, so therefore if the website has been visited before, it will remember some parts of the website an possibly load up faster?? I'm not PRO orange, I have an O2 iPhone, but just thought i'd mention......However I could be totally wrong!

pretty even really , i think the fact o2 give unlimited data , and have 2 years of iphone knowledge under their belts , gives them the advantage .

Very true mate, when i (Possibly) get my iPhone, im choosing o2, o2 has far better deals, getting mine on Pay and Go :)

Wow glad I decided to stick with O2 Telefonica for my Iphone, went on the Orange website the other dsay and after all the hype I'm glad I didnt move to them therte is no incentive to move to another Network when they are only a penny difference plus I hear that Orange charges for recieveing text message while roaming were as O2 it comes out your allowance and also wi-fi Orange cap 750mb and then charge £3 for each additional mb were as O2 is unlimited.
