Their approach might have been different had they been expecting an armed confrontation. sadly, the clerk was probably arrested. Those poor inocent youths were just looking threw the store, I didn't see them shoot in this veideo, they just happened to have guns. That doesnt mean anything, so then, they had to run for their lives from the evil store clerk.

Drugs are traded just like gasoline if the supply is low the amount per quantity will just increase, if firearms become banned people will still locate and use them, they will just cost more so lesser crime may see a decrease but the tool for the crime would just change instead of guns it'll be bats and knives. "recreational" use doesn't need stupid quotations guns can and, often, are used more for recreational use than they ever are for crimes. Wildlife parks and preserves are almost soley funded by game hunters who are perfectly responsible individuals. I take it you've never fired a firearm its quite a lot of fun. But you're close minded so maybe not for you.

I have two .22lr pistols, one sks .30 cal rifle, one .22lr caliber rifle, a marlin leveraction .30-30, a mossberg 535ats 12 gauge shotgun. They are all legally purchased and or given to me. What makes me not click one day?? Im not sure if someone raped my mother i'd probably kill everyone in their family for raising garbage. In addition to that it is safer to rule up to dictatorship level if populace is disarmed, they also want as, as you say, whine for more protection, hence more cops... Cops here are just as everyone on the side of the way that secures their jobs. To credit of some cops I must say, they do oppose attempts disarmament of people!

@translationwiz I'm a former police officer and I think everyone who feels confident they can properly handle and safely carry a firearm for their own protection should, within the constraints of the law. I think that if people weren't willing to become victms and were more willing to take responsibility for their own safety this would be a much safer country with a much lower crime rate - with less need for "punk ass cops".

Unfortunately, when cops abuse their power they tend to do it in groups and protect one another. Its also difficult for internal affairs to investigate accusations against the police but if abuse goes unreported then its impossible. So yes all cops are above the law, as are judges to a greater degree. Immunity and lack of prosecution galore. There may be a sentence in the law that state they are not: but that means shit.

I'm glad no innocent people happened to be in the store during this event. The way the store owner was wildly shooting was effective in stopping the robbery but very, very dangerous for possible bystanders otherwise.

Yes, I agree that, given the circumstances and apparent skill of the store owner, his actions are understandable and they ended the robbery. Nevertheless, improvements are in order and may yield better, safer results.

In any circumstances of this nature it's always best to plan a way to improve your subsequent response. As such, I see room for improvement. This kind of planning, from experience, is standard operating procedure for police, the military and, hopefully, all others concerned with success and related techniques.

Ok it's Dallas... makes sense.
