i enjoy reading about things like this but its most likely that these flying machines were flights of fancy told to entertain or maybe theoretical, based on a technology that is unknown (atleast to morden society), or so so my prof. of ancient civilizations explained (in much more detail). i must say i agree, even though there is much that we as a race dont even know about ourselves and our past.
