Well it is quite understandable that nobody would want to do the work to hack Macs. The point in hacking is getting many Computers in a botnet, but there just aren't enough Macs.

Basically, make an effort and pay half as much for more and go with a PC or ... get ripped off, go f or Mac, and then become snobby and "elite" and start looking down on others. Your pick.

Grats, you've just spent $9000-10000 extra for some clunkers, that you could have fixed for $70 ea. at most in a regular PC. Thanks Apple, I love my macs!
I had to get a PC because I have a lot of equipment that isn't compatible with Macs. Mostly my PC is okay. I wanted a Mac but it just didn't work with my software and hardware needs.
My sister likes hers. Oh, but unfortunately, though, her mac caught on fire and melted. Thanks gods for the warranty. She still swears by them though.
Maybe next time I'll look at the Macs more closely. But it just wasn't want I needed.

I have an iBook for 6 years. Used limewire with no trouble !! My screen just burn out!! I had tons of video and pics!! Of couse having an extral HD o always best ..backup everything !! Better be safe than sorry when that pc takes a crap.
The argument is: why would anyone bother to spend $1000 more for OSX? JUST to use Final Cut Pro? And once you have a Mac, you can't upgrade it, and you don't have a say in what hardware it comes with. Why wouldn't you build a hackintosh instead (apart from it supposedly being illegal)?

Viruses can be attached to anything. Just because you "use it for gudd use" as you so eloquently put it, doesn't mean your immune to them. The key is to have up to date anti-virus software, and to be cautious when downloading. Be aware of where your downloading something and scan anything that you feel might be problematic or from an unreliable source.

The point is; PCs are more prone to viruses because, 90+% of them come preloaded with windows. The operating system sucks.
And, since PCs (with Windows running them) still make up the majority of computers out there - most viruses are written for them.
Apple had to respond to a popular ad, and this is perfect.

Macs are actually really awesome. And for gaming, just run bootcamp, that works amazingly! Plus, just the look and smoothness of it helps everything out. Stop being closed minded pc freaks! Try NEW things!

Because making a hard drive partition is exactly what I want in a computer. I also love having to reboot my computer constantly in order to play a game or do some work. Or I can avoid that with parallels, although that will make my already shitty processor even more over worked hmm...
Although if I go mac I will never get a virus! Except that they do get many viruses, and if I DO install windows on a partition I can then get Windows viruses, defeating the purpose of having a mac at all?
