The srt-4 is one of the most well put together cars I have owned. 2007 corolla is a rattle trap compared. Believe what you want.... The ONLY thing "shitty" is FWD. I did not know the definition of a bulletproof engine until I started modding it.

I've owned both the speed 3 and the SRT4. Both are a lot of fun to drive. If I had to choose I'd pick the Mazda. Both are limited by fwd but If you really want to just go fast I think the SRT has more potential.(gearing,better aftermarket,stronger motor)
BTW my 2011 5.0 Stang is worlds better than both ha ha!
SRT's are under rated. I used to have one and I made it look like a regular Neon so no one knew it was an SRT. They only found out when they got left behind.

N yes I do have a video its in my profile on here titled my evo dyno video, now that 385 i made is only on 91 octane pump, and ambient temps were 107 in the dyno room, so this number will be irrelevant within the next few weeks when I do more mods. Not to be a dick man, but theres not been an srt4 ive come across thats pulled on me, roll or dig. Not saying there isnt any out there faster, but I havent met them.
@dastallion420951 and also the loss through the awd would be much greater so your looking at 70-90hp more so a stg3 shoudl be running about 380hp or so, so on the highway your going to lose. if you meant my personal car than yes i am stock at 235Hp to the wheels.

@IIKonnvictII I murder SRT4's all day in a Jeep with the hemi. It might have a supercharger, but its still a V8. Plus Charger r/t beat them as well. So pretty much unless it's a V8 in a 89 Buick I don't know what V8 you are talking about. However, there is something to be said about the cheapness of the srt4. Because you do get a lot of power for a small price. Faster than the GTI's and the A4's and most 3 series. For half the price.

the problem with the 0-60 is teh traction, like i said a set of slicks will make that SRT4 launch much much better. i know an srt8 is faster but not by much. from a roll that is.

the only major difference with these specific cars is the engine package and suspension. a ZR1 is nothing but a supercharged V8, more aggressive suspension and carbon fiber body parts instead of polyurethane.
A speed3 is nothing but a normal3 with a turbo attacked and some front end work to look more aggressive, and slightly bigger brakes.... need i go on?

I've owned both the speed 3 and the SRT4. Both are a lot of fun to drive. If I had to choose I'd pick the Mazda. Both are limited by fwd but If you really want to just go fast I think the SRT has more potential.(gearing,better aftermarket,stronger motor)
BTW my 2011 5.0 Stang is worlds better than both ha ha!

SRT's are under rated. I used to have one and I made it look like a regular Neon so no one knew it was an SRT. They only found out when they got left behind.

@dastallion420951 still the same body. do you mean my neon? or the one in this video. if you mean the one in this video that depends, if you have 385 to the wheels yes, it its to the flywheel then i think you would have to prove it to me, from a dead stop no competition from a roll you better use all those 385 if you gonna pass it considering the major weight difference, 100lbs is like 10hp so your prolly running about guessing 3500lbs which means youd need 60Hp more just for the weight

N yes I do have a video its in my profile on here titled my evo dyno video, now that 385 i made is only on 91 octane pump, and ambient temps were 107 in the dyno room, so this number will be irrelevant within the next few weeks when I do more mods. Not to be a dick man, but theres not been an srt4 ive come across thats pulled on me, roll or dig. Not saying there isnt any out there faster, but I havent met them.

@dastallion420951 and also the loss through the awd would be much greater so your looking at 70-90hp more so a stg3 shoudl be running about 380hp or so, so on the highway your going to lose. if you meant my personal car than yes i am stock at 235Hp to the wheels.

As far as that sr20 i wasnt talkin about that bein bad, i was referrin to the chassis u have it in, had a friend back in the day get killed in a street racing wreck n he was in about 400-450 hp 240 with an sr swap...long story short those cars are nice there good for drifting, but they crumple like beer cans to be honest...but ive never been to florida, sometime down the road.

@IIKonnvictII I murder SRT4's all day in a Jeep with the hemi. It might have a supercharger, but its still a V8. Plus Charger r/t beat them as well. So pretty much unless it's a V8 in a 89 Buick I don't know what V8 you are talking about. However, there is something to be said about the cheapness of the srt4. Because you do get a lot of power for a small price. Faster than the GTI's and the A4's and most 3 series. For half the price.

the problem with the 0-60 is teh traction, like i said a set of slicks will make that SRT4 launch much much better. i know an srt8 is faster but not by much. from a roll that is.

dont know why everyones hating on neons, i have an 85 mustang gt with 10 grand into it, my older brother has a 2004 mach 1 with a kenne bell 2.2 twinscrew on it, with the right mods those neons do make killer hp, go to streetfire and you can watch countless videos of srt neons walkin cobras its pretty fucked up, definitely not an import guy but i know it doesnt take much to get an srt neon running quick.

the only major difference with these specific cars is the engine package and suspension. a ZR1 is nothing but a supercharged V8, more aggressive suspension and carbon fiber body parts instead of polyurethane.
A speed3 is nothing but a normal3 with a turbo attacked and some front end work to look more aggressive, and slightly bigger brakes.... need i go on?
