You know, something just occurred to me. When Ryan said, "you slay me," Colin might've thought he was some kind of hunter, which is why, at the next question, he referenced animal skins to test the crowd's reaction. If they had cheered, it would've meant he was on the right track. But, since they booed, he knew he was off on his guess. That's talent right there, to be able to gauge a crowd's reaction. ^^

What sets Colin apart is how he adapts that skill into a heuristic for a guessing game.
