Sorry for not answering sooner but better late than ever. My friend will take photos of his sail and I will post a new video from "alfa-version" of the sail as soon as possible.
I dunno exact speed but I guess that something like 3-4 faster than paddling with little effort. My friend actually had v-shaped sail (Not A-shape like in video) made for his canoe and he loves it when he's crossing wide lakes. He loads his canoe pretty full so total weight of load is something like 200 kgs( or 440 lbs if you prefer) when he is alone in canoe.
Pretty cool...as long as the wind stays pointing at the stern.
