Whitney SHITS on Christina vocally, that is such a musical fact that it's unfunny. Whitney's voice has more beauty and character to it than Christina's forced, harsh and scratchy screaming. I'm not a hater of Christina or anybody for that matter, I enjoy a large portion of Christina's music, but she has absolutely NO vocal control and screams in nearly every live performance she has had since her debut as an artist.

On smoky, bluesy songs like "Walk Away," Christina truly shines as a vocalist and demonstrates amazing control and connection to what she's singing. She only becomes screechy & loses control when she tries to push her voice past a certain upper chest extreme. And she does it very frequently in her music.

But many of her live performances are still on point. But Whitney has no excuse and so she's not even worth a mention. Christina's voice is thin and loud, but it's not big. And she ALSO uses echo sometimes.

Beyonce uses echo in her uptempos too. It doesn't add fullness....just an ECHO. REVERB adds fullness. There's a difference.
And Beyonce has been praised COUNTLESS times for her voice and singing, so let's not lol

Whitney SHITS on Christina vocally, that is such a musical fact that it's unfunny. Whitney's voice has more beauty and character to it than Christina's forced, harsh and scratchy screaming. I'm not a hater of Christina or anybody for that matter, I enjoy a large portion of Christina's music, but she has absolutely NO vocal control and screams in nearly every live performance she has had since her debut as an artist.

@ManOfBamboo While I agree with this comment overall, I disagree with your statement that Christina has no vocal control. Christina is actually quite good in the lower ranges of her chest voice. On smoky, bluesy songs like "Walk Away," Christina truly shines as a vocalist and demonstrates amazing control and connection to what she's singing. She only becomes screechy & loses control when she tries to push her voice past a certain upper chest extreme. And she does it very frequently in her music.

I maintain the opinion that Christina has no control, even in her lower chest register --- she just warbles, whispers, and yodels her way through the low notes.
