so amazed that this video is still getting views!! miss Jinotega and all the children so much, I'll bet some have grown so tall I'd hardly recognize them.
Ha,ha,ha that was funny "YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A NICARAGUAN TO BE AN IDIOT". hA,HA,HA It seemed you all had a great time in Nicaragua. Thanks for helping our people and having a good time. Most of all thanks for sharing the video.
Thank you very much for what you do, nothing like given a hand, a cheer, a laugh and bring happiness to a child. I see myself, when I see this kids cause I was one of them.God bless you and the people that take their time to help others. Denis Pavon
Ronald Reagan claimed to be a Christian as well & he funded the Nicaraguan Contras who murdered thousands of Nicaraguans because they wanted to free their country from the oppressive dictator Somoza, who was supported by the US government for decades. Ronald Reagan, the self-proclaimed Christian, also funded the death squads (Esquadrones Muertes) of El Salvador. The death squads murdered with impunity, including some American nuns & Catholic lay workers. But, hey: Reagan was a Christian.
@Torey2008R cool! as I see your comment a year later lol... I had to make a project for a class and so I just used this footage not thinking anything of it- its crazy its gotten like 6,000 views!!
As Missionaries of Love and Compassion, we first feel that we are going to share the Spirit of the Christ and we do, but as you aptly describe your revelation that you feel that they are the ones who taught you. What a profound realization that all first ambassordors feel. With Zeal and strong spirts ...we initially come to help ...but realize at the end of missions .... They have truly blessed us and taught us as much if not more hope Love and Compassion and the Spirit of the Christ.
Great video i thank you for what you did in my home land, people like you is what we need in this world,i hope people in Nicaragua can do the same with their own brothers and not be figthing for stupid politics. Thank you again.
This video is awesome. My wife and I have been doing mission work in Jinotega since 2005. We had the opportunity to visit this orphanage in 2007 as well. I would love to get in contact with the individual that posted this video and share information with you. I am blessed by the video and I know God's blessings are upon you and the group that made a difference for His Kingdom.

It is a beautiful thing you did.
I also love the music in the background. I'd never heard of the first two songs and they amazed me.

The only way we can end misery in the world is by living God's law specially the love thy neighbour stuff.
One more thing! Did you humble yourself before God when you saw the misery in Nicaragua? I know I did......
