  • These are not Mexican tortillas. They may be good to eat but they are definitely not Mexican.

  • @pokechopped

    Hi

You are right. This is my style. To make them healthy, I add wheat flour instead of making from just flour tortilla mix. Enjoy!

  • she mentions 2 cups of tortilla flour and one cup of wheat flour..... my question is: What is tortilla flour ? not sure I can buy this flour in Montreal ...or how to make it then ? thanks

    stef.

  • @herbeapuce

    Hi Stef

Tortilla flour is basically ready mix to make flour tortillas. There are two kinds of tortillas you can make, one corn tortilla and the other one is flour tortillas. You should be able to find in Montreal even at your local grocers in oriental or mexican section. If not, you can make your own. I have recommended recipe in my video "puff puris" Enjoy!

  • @SuperVeggieDelight

thanks once again , and great work you are doing there !

    stef, Montreal.

  • @janeegibbs

Nothing special. It just rise b/c of ready made tortilla flour since it has got everything in it. Enjoy!

  • @SuperVeggieDelight No, I meant that rack thing you have. Where did you get it?

And I used your recipe just now, but I added some blended spinach, and it was fantastic. Thank you so much for putting this here

  • @janeegibbs

    Hi

Oh, sorry. It is special rack from India but you can basically use any type of rack to rise your tortilla and if not you can skip the step. Tortilla still come out great. Enjoy!

  • @iwantosavemoney

    Hi

It is easy. Making at home enhances even flavor of tortillas. Enjoy!

  • This is NOT how to make real flour tortillas.

  • @MochaKnitster007

    Hi

This is my way of making better tasting tortilla than store bought tortillas. Believe me or not but this tortillas taste great than ready made one. But yes, if you would like to share real flour tortillas then we would like to learn from you. Enjoy!

  • for how many tortillas can you make with those ingredients? and can you store them in the fridge or how do you keep them if you want to use them another day? How long do they last? Thank you so much! great videos! =)

  • @fiorellicious

    Hi

It makes around 10-12 depend on the size you make. It last long about a week if you referigerate. Add little bit of all purpose flour if you want to keep it in the referigerator to keep them in nice shape.

  • I wish I could keep my kitchen that clean while working with flour :P

  • @Ryuu99

    Hi

Don't worry about mess if you are learner. You will get good at not messing after some cooking experience.

    Enjoy!

  • I don't let my young son waste time reading comments because of low-class, foul-mouthed people like "elmexicanreyputos." Thanks for your video.

  • @minniemouseek

    Hi

You most welcome. You are right, but once in a while we get those kind of users who spoils the whole network. It's just getting hard and hard to protect our kids from these kind of unwanted behavior. But yes, we can always try our best to give our kids best values. Enjoy!

  • Thank you very much, that was so interesting!

  • @MarjoriesCandies

    Hi

You most welcome and keep enjoying!

  • what the fuck my simply adds water an flour lol an they taste great this is not mexican

  • @elmexicanreyputos

You better mind your language. Readymade flour only requires water but still I add cumin powder as per my prefernce. And this was shown as per request for ideas to make it more healthy, rolling ideas without tortilla maker....so if you don't like this, just get away from it. We don't need people like you who don't understand what it takes to make and show!!!

  • @elmexicanreyputos

    Oh Bhavna!

Don't worry about this dude. He doesn't know anything about cooking at all!!! I don't why people don't know how to show their dislike. He could have just voted on dislike above instead of using this rough language. It's sad but these kind of people are poor people who are not getting educated right way.

  • @elmexicanreyputos

    Hi Vanita!

Oh no! I don't pay attention to this kind of people at all. I just don't remove the comments because I know this kind of people get slaps from everyone else as well. Thanx for your support.

  • @elmexicanreyputos

OMG! This guy has gone completely mad. He needs to go and see the doctor to diagnose his mind!

  • hi

what is tortilla flour @ 0:15 ,it's that all purpose flour ???

    thanks :)

  • @desigujjugirl

    Hi

In the USA, tortilla flour is readily available. But if you can't find one, then mix all purpose and wheat flour and then add baking powder as well. Give it a try. Thanx

  • You are amazing! This looks difficult to do but I'd like to try. Where can I get the round rolling board and small pin you're using? Looks like it would help to have that. Also, can I use a non-stick flat surfaced griddle?

  • @iverygirl

    Hi

You can use any surface to roll and any pin. It doesn't have to be the one like I have. If you first would like to give it a try then use any surface and any pin that will save you some money and then when you get little expert, try to buy something. You can find at indian grocers.

    Thanx

  • Hi there!

Thank you for watching. The pan I am using can be found in Indian grocery store. Just use flat non stick pan if you don't have one like that.

  • What is that pan you are using called again. And where could I purchase one of those? Thanks so much your recipes looks so simple and well made thanks for sharing.
