I know, mexicans do not flavor it up but I like the flavor of cumin and I do not use much refined flour so I mix with wheat flour. Other than that nothing is different in flour tortillas...enjoy!
You most welcome...yes, it is very very cheap to make at home with fresh flavor...you can make all kinds of tortillas at home, corn, whole wheat and much more...enjoy!

I am so jealous of you, my tortillas never come out right and they are never round :( but I will try your recipe and see if that works out for me. hopefully it will
she mentions 2 cups of tortilla flour and one cup of wheat flour..... my question is: What is tortilla flour ? not sure I can buy this flour in Montreal ...or how to make it then ? thanks
Tortilla flour is basically ready mix to make flour tortillas. There are two kinds of tortillas you can make, one corn tortilla and the other one is flour tortillas. You should be able to find in Montreal even at your local grocers in oriental or mexican section. If not, you can make your own. I have recommended recipe in my video "puff puris" Enjoy!
Oh, sorry. It is special rack from India but you can basically use any type of rack to rise your tortilla and if not you can skip the step. Tortilla still come out great. Enjoy!
this is very cool it looks like you have done this a few times look good making me hungry i never thought it would be so easy thanks im looking forward to make tortillas for the first time tomarrow
This is my way of making better tasting tortilla than store bought tortillas. Believe me or not but this tortillas taste great than ready made one. But yes, if you would like to share real flour tortillas then we would like to learn from you. Enjoy!
for how many tortillas can you make with those ingredients? and can you store them in the fridge or how do you keep them if you want to use them another day? How long do they last? Thank you so much! great videos! =)
It makes around 10-12 depend on the size you make. It last long about a week if you referigerate. Add little bit of all purpose flour if you want to keep it in the referigerator to keep them in nice shape.
You most welcome. You are right, but once in a while we get those kind of users who spoils the whole network. It's just getting hard and hard to protect our kids from these kind of unwanted behavior. But yes, we can always try our best to give our kids best values. Enjoy!
You better mind your language. Readymade flour only requires water but still I add cumin powder as per my prefernce. And this was shown as per request for ideas to make it more healthy, rolling ideas without tortilla maker....so if you don't like this, just get away from it. We don't need people like you who don't understand what it takes to make and show!!!
Don't worry about this dude. He doesn't know anything about cooking at all!!! I don't why people don't know how to show their dislike. He could have just voted on dislike above instead of using this rough language. It's sad but these kind of people are poor people who are not getting educated right way.
Oh no! I don't pay attention to this kind of people at all. I just don't remove the comments because I know this kind of people get slaps from everyone else as well. Thanx for your support.

You are amazing! This looks difficult to do but I'd like to try. Where can I get the round rolling board and small pin you're using? Looks like it would help to have that. Also, can I use a non-stick flat surfaced griddle?
You can use any surface to roll and any pin. It doesn't have to be the one like I have. If you first would like to give it a try then use any surface and any pin that will save you some money and then when you get little expert, try to buy something. You can find at indian grocers.
