The vocalist you see in this video is Damien Boynton. He is the band's official live vocalist. Damien is tasked to perform the live vocal duties because his throat can endure longer tours without getting stressed and he is a way better vocalist live compared to his studio counterparts.

@mgdth502 They released a couple of (pretty damn good blackened death) albums before Tony Lazaro, the rhythm guitar and main member, revamped the lineup. Dechristianize was recorded with Glen Benton on vocals and Dave Suzuki on drums / lead guitar. It is awesome. Then they did Icons of Evils with Erik Rutan of Hate Eternal producing. it is awesomer.

live, they've had all manner of people. Tim Yeung drummed a couple of tours, Marco Pitruzzeli etc. They're pretty well respected!

Damien Boyton used to come into my work and we'd chat metal. He told me he was broke as shit after this tour. He didn't have a dime to his name... I think he did a pretty kick ass job with the vocals personally.. Benton is a little too gruff sounding.

Trivium has metalcore elements. Metalcore is much more popular than death metal around the US. I love death metal alot more, but Trivium is very fuckin tallented. Mat is a great guitarist. There new cd Shogun is alot better than the crusade. Vital remains is a great band as well, even though i dont like the vocalist as much (Glen Benton is BETTER)
