  • after i watched this video Projections onto Subspaces., my insight is very open because the video is very good to give information

    Thanks MIT

  • How can i just remember every bit of these lectures always? This is education in its true sense, sometimes i feel watching video is a better form of education than personal interaction, if you understand wat i mean

  • great lecture again!

  • thanks professor gilbert

  • Hats on the xs, hats off to Professor Strang!

  • omg.. this is just amazing, thank you MIT thank you professor Strang

  • amazing, amazing :)

  • how wonderful the lectures are! As a Caltech student I have to say that MIT has a bunch of professors awesome at teaching, while our professors(good researchers perhaps) cannot teach....they only confuse things more, sigh.Though the approach to Linear Algebra is kind of fundamental here. But a good recap, definitely.

  • I can barely hesitate to say that these lectures are incomparable to the lectures I attend for Linear Algebra at university. It's uncanny how often when watching these videos I think, "I get it now, I get it!" Cudos to you Prof. Strang!

  • Immortal, you are Professor Strang.

  • This series rocks. I just took Linear Algebra, and the lectures were good but quite abstract with most of the time spent on theorems and proofs. Rigorous proofs aren't the best route to comprehension, and you have to really work to wring meaning out of them. (At least in my case). Prof Strang is excellent at exposing the meaning in a direct, intuitive way. This is super.

  • This lecture was SOOOOOOO well done. Bravo.

  • the janitor sucks at cleaning the chalkboard

  • sexy ass lecture! he made it so clear

  • When I was in school I had a burning interest in math, but one thing or another always got in the way year after year. Now, I'm retired and finally able to give it the attention I want to.

After 14 lessons, I can't say enough about the quality of this course in particular and of MIT's OCW program in general. To receive all this education in exchange for a voluntary donation (at most) seems too good to be true. I see that Professor Strang has put his text on Google Books. Hats off to him!!
