  • lol without the condensers the 00raiser formation would fall everytime! XD

  • HMMM Does look to bad! This is like the only kit i could tollerate seeing the clear parts on!

  • great 80

  • hey y dont u take the clear parts and paint them the trans-am verison

  • looks gd 0.o

now u made me think about which one to build T_T

    i wanna get a second 1 now =-='

    and strike freedom gundam..........

u made me almost stop building it to wait for the clear parts =-='

    (although idk how they linked..)

  • thanks for the review! planning to buy this after this month!

  • Its got its problems but i'd give this kit a 7/10 :P

  • to let you know I got three of those kits. for a huge special project. Clear parts I do not like it. I rather do a frame only job and a completed version and show the two. the 3rd one is to be kept unopened. I also doig custome paint job for the frame. Nutural gray+ black is too common.

  • I got bad news I am not a fan of clear parts for armor. it looks more toy then a soemthing that looks like a weapon I do have a 1/60 scale Exia 1/60 limited Expo to give it a try.

I do not like it for its clear armor.when I do have the time I may paint it

  • @pikabko1 I can respect that. It's true that it does have a very "unrealistic look" compared to the armor. I'll just say it like this: for me it makes more sense that they have clear parts for PG kits than MG kits because the PG's are 100% thought out in terms of inner and outer frames. Some people (like myself) love to see the stuff inside. I would never use clear parts on the GP01 for example because I like the armor too much.

I guess it all depends on the kit. Thanks for the good comment :)

  • @0083titans however the clear parts well if they useed crystal clear. not clear blue or clear red.. lets say crystal clear. the flat white will look better. because some other kits its not white its more like a off gray any other color dose not work. lets say red plastic.

plut flat white on it. you can see the red plastic under the white paint.

  • @pikabko1 you act as if he got the kit and made the vid specifially for you...

  • @somthineasy well I was trying to give you some ideas of what I am doing on my own. Custom paint job for the frame. becuase Nutural Gray + black is too common. like extream dead. I got Matalic Black with a drop of flat base for the job. the frame is not complated hoever it looks nice so far. I am no a fan of clear armor beucase it make it look more like a toy. people do not paint toys. this is art. for people that care about there art.

  • Review the whole clear 00 raiser

  • love the clear parts on the gundam oo i never seen one with clear parts on it until now im getting one myself most likely i'll do the same with mines.

  • awesome how much was it

  • dude please reply im planing to buy this kit and i got so many doubts about this! does the spining gn drives comes with this kit or did you buy it ? and does it have a stand?

  • @rockzone16 this is an awesome kit, don't worry! It comes with spinning drives and a stand.

  • @rockzone16 that's a stupid question

  • @neoscard u too! :)

  • @rockzone16 It not longer comes with the stand, it was initial production only, but you can find it on amazon for $60.

  • Are you going to do the clear 0 raiser??

  • sadly the yellow isn't clear

  • Hmm I think I might built it half clear

  • Sorry if you answered this before, but why did they come out with clear parts what is the purpose for them? Do you paint it or is it just for show?

  • Cool clear

  • Very entertaining review. i have a question though, once you put on the clear parts, should they remain permanent? i mean HLJ previously released a memo that once the clear parts are placed removing them could result into possible breakages? have you experienced this or base on your assessment, is this the case?

  • I think if you wanted it 100% To be clear parts then not all of them are removable. I think thats what HLJ meant, that only some of them are not removable. So what are removable are probably the typcially parts like the legs and arms, etc. I think the 0-raiser fins are not, unless you are careful.

  • Really enjoyed your video, I'm currently waiting for my clear parts from HLJ and I was initially going to build the 00 as normal and then switch a few pieces for the clear parts when they arrive.

After seeing this video I think I'll hold off with the PG build and go 100% clear armor, its a beautiful looking PG.

  • Glad the video was helpful :) . I'm planning on making a short video showing the complete final product (weapons, 0 Raiser and Stand). You won't regret waiting as I think clear parts are the way to go for this guy!

  • I'll look forward to seeing your update with the completed 0 Raiser.

I'll take your advise and wait for the clear pieces before building the kit.

  • btw if i did get the clear parts i would actually detail the internal frame... i mean like highlight details with a gold pen etc.

  • Lol lighten up man- you don't have to take what I'm saying too seriously. And good luck if you decide to detail it- I prefer the sleek black frame for this particular one (plus detailing under the color coated parts would be fail imho).

Btw, you're pretty good at piano!

  • actually i've been looking at my kit which is sitting under my computer table...

I have a feeling that you can't really see anything below due to the darkness of the frame. Unlike previous gunpla with a grey frame, this one is definitely very dark black.... If you resprayed silver i think you would get more detail coming through, especially with light reflecting off the metallic inner frame.

  • And just to be clear my saying the detailing under the colored parts would be fail was not supposed to be scumbag statement- you just genuinely would not be able to see the details you made under the blue clear parts for this kit for example. You would, however, be able to see the profile of the frame in the light very well. Also keep in mind that the armor pieces have detailing underneath as well (not necessarily just ugly pegs) and this can get in the way of detailing- i know bc i've done it.

  • it's not really taunting. we just drag the bar across to skip to the goods.

  • i would say you might was well go with an all clear 0 raiser... just to keep the designs consistent...

but i gotta say as much as i can imagine getting this kit any time soon... the clear body does make it look like everything youve spent on it money and time wise, was really worth it all... unfortunately by the time i decide to get this PG the clear parts will no longer be an obtainable option for me

  • Yeah this is probably what I'll end up doing. I will say that I would probably go for the Mk. II or the GP01 before this guy- clear parts or not. This is a cool kit but to be honest, it wouldn't be the one I'd run to immediately - especially because many of the reservations you had were not addressed imo such as the proportions.

  • sir im thinking of buying this kit but i want to know your opinion.. is it really worth it? I mean with all the proportion problems this kit has is it still worth the price tag??

  • im gonna asnwer your question in a different way... i came across this PG at a local shop and guess how much they were selling it... $426.99... yup... i can say its much worth it to have been able to have reserved this kit and/or get it from japan... $426.99 though?! imagine what else you can get with that kind of money

  • holy crap $427 for a pg???!!!!! I am not spending that much on a plastic model.........I think I might just buy it from hobby link japan.1 thing concerns me about this kit though, its about the pegs of the side binder of the O raiser that connects to the GN drives....They look very thin and looks like they are gonna break over time. Are those pegs durable??..It would help alot if someone could clear this up for me....

  • @ GunplaFan101, I had the same concerns about the peg, but the nice part is that there is a little nub on the peg that reinforces the placement of the drive at the top of the side binder that hold the GN drives. I have moved them around constantly and the joint hasn't gotten weak yet.

Also in response to your first question- if you're a fan of the series, the suit and are curious about the mechanics underneath, there is no better alternative. It gets an A from me but I prefer the GP01 :P

  • they are strong, stong enough to hold the binders at the "raiser sword" position (more than a week!!!!) then i changed the pose, i'm sure that theywill still hold on for more time
