I have listened to all 11 video's - I think Dave Hunt has a good point re self worship - ego/pride was the first sin and independance/self-reliance was the fruit of eating Tree of K of Good and Evil - to be "like God" is not evil - but we must be in right relationship with Him - intimacy of fellowship (tree of Life) - crucifying our own will/self via the cross. The New Age is a good counterfeit - spiritual truths - but wrong source that appeals to unregenerate rebellious sinful nature

I watched it. That doesn't mean I believe it. The truth about who wrote our modern bible is coming to light in our new age. You don't need preacher, a church, a religion, or a terribly mistranslated distorted book to know the path to god.

The new generations simply are not participating in the "My god is better than your god" game. We feel connected to god in everything that we do. I don't need a ritual and a deity, or a pedestal to judge others from.

There are literally thousands of variations from the oldest known texts to the ones we have today. Especially the KJV. Whats more is we don't even know who wrote them! Because well we have are copies.

For instance the word Hell is not in the old testament. What we have translated to Hell comes from the word "Sheol" which means grave or pit, and sometimes afterlife. Not a place of eternal punishment or separation from god.

Getting your bible history from the pulpit is a little biased.

I was reading something in the Bible today. Romanss 9:8 says That is, They who are the children of flesh are not the children of god, but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. We are not one with God as the New Age would like us to believe. We are seperated, we need Jesus to save us.

"Children of flesh" for example, is used in context to describe humans that base their existence around worldly matters without God due to their egos and acts of over confidence. I think we are all connected to God through our souls internally. You're right, we do need Jesus to save us to return home to be with our heavenly father. Also here on earth, we can tap into the guidence of God by realizing that we are made in the image of God. By living the gospel, we become the childern of "promise."

I'd have to disagree with us being connected. The Word Holy means seperate, and the only thing that we can really base our faith on as Christians is faith. I believe that her experiences were true with the darkness. However, there was more to her story than she cared to share. She herslef was involved in more than New Age self-help teachings and perhaps made some type of deals with the darkness. And it's a shame that she and Hunt blame such events on authors like Napoleon Hill and others who may not have had any involvement in such matters. She went and dealt with the darkness and paid the price. Only God knows. God is love.

Maybe you should read my earlier comment again. These experiences of her seeing figures isn't something triggered by reading Napoleon Hill and other self-improvement literature. She was involved in something much darker than the New Age beliefs. BTW, evidence is something that's tangible and these two stating their opinions are hardly considered evidence. If I say you're a Cry Baby, does that mean you really are one? Is that considered evidence? Then again, who knows... maybe you are.

Isaiah- Jesus is not an image. No problem.

Matthew,Mark- Jesus prayed to His Father, doesn't prove he isn't God's Son. Jesus willfully came to earth, separating himself (in some respects) from God in Heaven. If the Father chose not to reveal certain things to Jesus, so be it. I am one person, yet I have a body, mind and soul. Separte parts, one man. No problem.
