  • @LegendofHogger Video's uploaded - ZERO. Never said it was hard. This video's so old and that gun is long gone, I couldn't care less.

  • You change the color??? I shot a Colt 1911A1 45. at a farm last sunday and it was black and the grip was brown. Does yours have that little trigger thing where you put the web of your hand so it wont shoot? I found out that this gun is NOT accurate at all and it jams alot (well not alot...) but it was prety fun ;D

  • @PWhiteproductions

The 1911 pistol comes in many sizes and finishes, as well as MFG companys.

The 1911 has been used for over 100 years in 2011, and boasts some of the best accuracy in a stock standard semi auto pistol. The one you shot may not have been clean, using cheap ammo or reloads. Many things go wrong when your gun is not taken care of.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • @Justins1877 Well it wasnt mine and the guy who owned the gun was in the military and just got back from overseas and didnt shoot it or clean it for 3 years.... Yea thats probably why lmao :D

  • your gun is a sheet

  • Wow...you are very clever...clever...clever...

  • Yeah.... For a guy who has nothing firearm related on his page, you are clearly an expert.

I don't even own that gun anymore.

  • Clever man,see my M1 Garand Iwo Jima. You have to sell your house to have one of this.Ah...youtube has a searcher to locate M1 Garand Iwo Jima...clever man

  • The IWO Jima model is only $1,800, brand new - including the crate and accesories.

My Mate S&W 1911 was $2,100, not including the Streamlight TLR-2. So I highly doubt i'd need to sell my house. Pff, my Tavor (Tar-21) was almost tripple what the Iwo Jima costs. That doesn't even include the $2,800 in optics and accesories I have on it as well. Not to mention the other 15 firearms I own.

This gun was sold 2 1/2 years ago, whatever sheet means?

So, do us both a favour and be gone

  • You musnt load a firearm at home

  • ....Is that right? I had no idea. At no time was the firearm ever loaded with live ammunition.

I have clearly marked dummy rounds, no primer, no powder.

  • @Panhead583

WTF "don't load a firearm at home" WTF where do you load it then?

  • @TheJomogogo In the COVER OF NIGHT! Like batman,

  • how much do these cost i own 1 with a couple scrathces but other than tht its fine

  • Ordered one and now still waiting 5 months for it to come in

  • Cool gun. I can't find any A1's around here except for some off brand. I don't remember what it's called but I would feel more comfortable with something more well-known such as Colt, Kimber or Springfield. They are expensive new though. All over $1,000. Might as well get a SIG Sauer or a Glock at that price.

  • hogger129, Charles Daily?

  • What's the Charles Daily? The one I was looking at at Gander Mountain was like some brand don't remember the name. Started with a W. But it was just a regular old black 1911A1. Can you get the regular 1911A1 in stainless? I like the stainless color better, but I don't like all the extra stuff they put on it. Just want the regular old military-style one in stainless. Probably costs an arm and a leg if you can find one like that.

  • Charles Daily is a company that is not in one certain country some are made in the Philippines and some are made in Russia. Most 1911's are shipped out matte black, but some are made stainless. Actually go to a local pawn shop and you might just find a stainless. Or if you have the money get one special ordered. But classic military 1911's are pretty common.

  • I've always wanted one.

Now I want one even more!

This vid reminds me of those Zippo lighter tricks people are always doing.

  • Your right 44Magnum, you just can't. Easy fieldstrip and clean solid design. Reliable too. I've had mine for 20 years, and it hasn't let me down yet except for a few jams that were easily cleared.

  • Can NEVER go wrong with a 1911! : )

  • do you know how long a magazine can be stored loaded before the spring gets ruined

  • nice looking pistol! nice catch too.

  • Thank you very much. I sold that pistol and bought a better one. A Smith & Wesson 1911 /w rail. I also put a TRL 2 on it for trigger training.

  • That was dangerous, might shoot the wife on accident remember that.

  • How do you figure? At no point was the firearm ever pointed at her. Not to mention if you had read the comments i was using dummys.

Make sure you use your head before posting about somthing so stupid.

    Thanks.

  • Don't get your panties in a bunch kid, I am sorry, my mistake. Awesome that you are smart enough to not use live ammunition.

  • No problem. I just get a little angry when people jump the gun saying things that arnt true. Im sure you can understand?

    Im sorry as well.

  • .45 snap-caps are great!

  • They are. Although those arnt snap caps they work well none-the-less.

I was using dummy rounds. (no powder, punched primer) Basically the same weight as live rounds without the chance of an accident, and according to the law in terms of safe storage, display, transportation.

  • Snap-caps,

  • As i just said, they were not snap caps.

They are real brass .45 acp casings, punched primer and no powder.

Snap caps are not real brass, they are just moldings of what ever bullet you buy it in.

  • their is nothing more beautiful than a m1911 45 colt fav gun period

  • Atta boy

  • That was bad ass

  • aye i dont know shit bout real guns but when im old enough imma get and Colt M1911A1 45. ACP

i dont know where u buy these but like at gun stores or wutever how much would a colt m1911 cost?

  • meh reliability comes with a price

  • lol luv the round catch, i always try and do that with my colt goldcup 1911 but i always miss but i did catch it with my smith and wesson m&p 9mm

is there anything sexyer than a 1911? if there is i dont wanna know about it!

  • I know i heard people saying glocks looked better and i went straight up. No. they dont. 1911's are the beuty of pistol manufacturing

  • Glocks.

  • This isnt a airsolf gun Jonsairsolf.

This is a real working firearm.

I own a 1911 and a Glock. Anyone who tells you a Glock looks nicer is a moron and has no idea what he is talking about.

  • I actually got more real firearms then air soft lol

  • Videos?

Not saying you dont, but all i see on your page is you shooting airsoft..

You take the time to make a video of you shooting airsoft, but not shooting a real working firearm?

  • its not airsoft its a blank gun i downloaded it to make some points on youtube *pointless argument* but i dont have a camera, most of my guns are from my grandpa only rifles.

  • Nice.

  • Nice I got the Kimber custom II , wish I would have got a ''GI'' but oh well custom guns are nice too.

  • Yea, i sold the colt. Bought a Smith & Wesson 1911 stainless and put a TRL-2 laser/flashlight on it. Love it.

  • Nice, you should do a video when you get a chance(range report). Im going to do one when I get a camera.

  • Yea, i have. I have tons and tons of new video to add. I just havnt the time to sort thru it. I will get done tho. Good call.

  • lol the cat :)

  • Cute kitty.

  • no pistol more respected more then the m1911 then the 2 m1911's

  • nice cartridge catch

  • haha nice! i agree with the majority. cool move with the catching of the round

  • your rite why not its just fun (and that is a nice weapon own 2 my self )

  • Why you ask? This is Youtube my friend. Their is over 50,000 vids of just 1911's, not to mention guns in general.

Who is the well trained one, you or I?

  • that is a nice gun i love a 1911

  • being a gun man ( well trained ) why do you put this shit on the net

  • Why Not?

  • Looks heavy for a dummy, cause it aint a live round of course? ;)

  • i could do that wen i wos 16 nice gun wish i had one

  • Really? Could you also spell when you were 16?

  • why do you ask? do u find it difficult to read?

  • That looked smooth as hell when you pulled back the slide and caught the round.
